The full autumn themed illustration I made for Morning Sun: An Asahi Seasons Zine @/MorningSun_Zine (TWT/IG). I wanted to convey both the warmth and coolness of fall at once with Asahi at the center of it all. 

I forgot to explain the symbolism of the chess pieces I chose

🤍 The white queen is for Hermione *of course * cause she is HIS queen, she is HIS and he will do anything to keep her alive. Even if she is in the other counterpart of the war.

🖤 The black horse is for Draco cause I thought about the trojan horse and how it fit with Draco’s infiltration and how he destabilizes Voldemort regimen. So it’s not related with the horse chess piece itself.

And for the poses of the pieces

The queen is in his grip indicating possession while the horse is leaning on her, even if he doesn’t want to, and that’s why the horse is not looking at the queen, cause he’s trying to fighting it

And let’s just say that I know barely nothing about chess lol so I improvised
