Totally Understand Why You Skipped It. It Ain't For Everyone And That's Okay. I Adore Sanji Alot But

This is the way I see it and I am in no way a artist. I can't draw to save me life. When an artist says hey I am doing commissions hit me up if you want one. You don't just ask for one and they do it. You have to pay to get it done. Or going to a convention. Artists aren't going to willingly hand over their artwork to you. You have to pay for it. It's the same thing with comic dubs. Saying 'Oh I'm giving you exposure

Hey UT Comic Artists

I want to open a dialog. Lot’s of our art is getting dubs on youtube, but I’ve noticed channels growing and getting quite a lot of views recently, which easily translates into monetization, specifically as the video’s are often watched by young children.

How does this make you feel? Do you think a shout out or credit (Exposure) is an appropriate trade for your work? I’m wondering how the community feels as I’ve never heard of an artist getting payed, but I’m sure the channel is. Do you think it’s okay for dubbers to profit off comic artists while they get only exposure in return?

Ps: when asking to dub, many comic dubbers leave out that they are making money from the channel. How does that make you feel as a part of this community?

“I’m tired of lying.”

Sanji looked up from where he was cooking, the knife about to slice into the carrot as you spoke, your voice trembling with the weight of those words, the implications that hung heavy in the air with the admittance. He dropped his knife, setting it down before he faced you.

“What do you mean?”

“I’m done, I’m tired, I don’t want this anymore.” You gestured between you both, exasperated he didn’t know exactly what you meant right away, that you had to explain.

You knew it wasn’t his fault, you knew your frustration was driving the wheel of your emotions right now. You stepped further into the kitchen before sitting at the table, your hands clasped together, foot tapping on the floor, anxiety dripping from your posture, the expression on your face, how you couldn’t even look at him right now.

“Us?”

“Yes.”

He took off his apron and sat across from you, he reached out to place a hand on yours, you jerked away at the motion, not wanting to feel his skin on yours. You didn’t want the resolve in your decision to crumble. Sanji sighed, hands flat on the table, a show that he wouldn’t try again, didn’t want to upset you.

“I can’t make excuses for you anymore, not to others and not to myself. You flirt and stare and talk about other people. And you have told me so many times why but Sanji, I’m tired of lying that it’s okay and I understand.” You were close to tears, shutting them tightly trying to control yourself enough to not burst into a sobbing mess in the kitchen.

“I deserve better and that’s why I’m ending this.” He didn’t make a sound, he didn’t even reply, he simply sat there and nodded his head before he realised you couldn’t hear that. “Alright, if that’s what you want..”

“I do.”

All of her stuff is good (try My favorite Red Scarf. So cute!!! and Virtue and Vice, that is an underlust fanfiction very cool and not smut, remind me of the handmaid’s tale somehow idk. And Little ole broken me, that is more angsty). If you haven’t read her work yet, then go!!!

Never walk home alone by @rabellerabbit​ : In my quest to found some good Horrortale fanfictions, very little caught my attention. This one did, and it’s very good. Yandere-ish/stalker Horror!Sans. Reader is not stupid but is a mess. I really like this one >w<
