Hi people! My Finnico fic has been getting a bit of attention so I thought I would update you all on the progress!

Chapter 3 is like 75% done but in the middle of writing it I got a super hot malewife so I’ve been distracted. Chapter 4 and 5 have vague plans (scribbled on receipt paper from my job, same as every other chapter) and I think I could definitely get chap 3 done by tonight

Be on the lookout for more but yeah! That’s all so far

If anyone wants to know my inspiration (i dont think anyone does i just want to share), all my ideas get beamed into my head by a red laser when its especially slow at work and a large inspo for me is On the Other Side by aladdinboy on ao3 and the box prince episode! Anywhos, some thoughts

I don't really like the title (Catboys and Cuddles), it feels a bit too much for me. I wanna change it to something super meaningful and smart but ain't nobody got time for that.

Ice King probably won't be such a prevalent character (Even though he's one of my favourites) unless I need him for something, same with PB and Flame Princess because 1. I want this to focus solely on Finn and Nico and 2. I have never tried writing them and am too scared

If anyone has ideas for a different title plz givem to me!!

am i the only one who didnt know cheers was a real show??!? i was talking to my dad but his childhood shows the other night and he said he always watched cheers as a kid and i was flabbergasted because i thought it was just like a parody of a bunch of shows put into f&c

anyways, he showed me an episode and it was not that good and then he proceeded to spend 15 minutes searching for the cheers intro he remembered on YouTube

In a little over a week, I animated this clip of Finn and Nico, and I’m very proud of how it came out!! I tried to match the show’s style as close as I could, let me know how I did!

The song I used was “Leaving Rainbow” by staypuft (who composed most of AT’s soundtrack)

Nico’s voice was supplied by @parsenoire!

And a special thanks to @indianazell for helping with some of the linework for the bgs!! And also to my animation professor Polly Guo who did board on AT and said my boards looked good LMAO
