I apologize for the misunderstanding, I wasn't saying that everyone has the same opinions as me, I totally believe that everyone has different opinions and should express them!!!!

I was just saying that based on what I've seen, I was restating. People have different preferences and I support them all the way. If you don't agree with anything that I've said, I understand and respect it. I suppose I stated it the wrong way. That was completely my fault.

I just wanted to come on here tonight and pray and hope that season 2 of Hazbin gives us lore. Like- lore on Niffty cuz good GOD that insane girl is underdeveloped and underrated. I want Vaggie character development (which yes I know everyone wants as well but still-) and I want her to have problems that don't involve Charlie for once 😞. Like, I would be interested if she had very inner problems (like identity issues bc I hc her being specifically created by Adam like the other exorcists) where she goes on a mental journey to show that she is her own unique person and she finds friends and enemies outside of Charlie. And honestly I want more emo Charlie and her past because you CANNOT give us that photo and then never show us more about it. Plus Lilith. I'm very excited for Lilith.

Rosie also deserves screen time.

Not only is she the second most powerful being in Hell, but her Protection Squad™️ consists of her ex-exorcist angel girlfriend, a spider demon from a crime boss family, a former overlord gambler, a cyclops maid that will stab anybody if you simply tell her to, a snake war general with hypnotic powers, the motherfucking cannibalistic radio demon who has killed hundreds if not thousands of people just cause he can, and her father who is literally the FUCKING DEVIL

mentally destroying myself thinking about how most of the denizens of Hell perceive Charlie as a naive pushover, but she stomachs it and refuses to abandon her morals because she just wants to make things better for everyone regardless of how they think of her.

a very fun worldbuilding quirk that would suit hazbin hotel is if the whole show operated on musical logic but was self-aware about it. there are elements of this already, like vaggie begging charlie not to sing and the sharks exclaiming "they're fucking singing?" after loser baby, but i think it would be even more fun if characters actively acknowledged when they hear strains of music coming in when a song is about to start, where demons who are new to hell have to adjust to the fact that at any moment, they might burst into song without meaning to, or get swept up in a choreographed street performance that someone else set off. people having their own unique leitmotifs that blend with others depending on their relationships or mood, duets springing up between compatible voices on the fly.

alastor's insistence on reprising or crashing other demons' songs being characterized as rude or untrustworthy because what kind of dick steals your own lyrics and sings them better? what kind of demon doesn't have his own tune? vaggie being exempt from the compulsion because she's an angel, but learning to find her voice for charlie's sake so that they can sing together. angel dust only ever singing backup vocals for val bc he's val's property, and then being elated when husk draws him into a duet where their voices have equal strength. the vees bursting into "spontaneous" trios as a marketing ploy. when people sell or lose their souls, their leitmotif becomes subsumed under the melodies of their contractor. alastor only singing his own theme when he's alone; charlie humming her motif constantly, no matter where she is. lucifer forgetting the lyrics to his songs the more depressed he becomes, and rediscovering them again when he reconciles with charlie.

just, hell with an inescapable, compulsory musical culture that everyone is aware of.

I think we are sleeping on Charlie's determination and goals

Because when she, Vaggie and Angel confront Pentious and the last two want to kill him, Charlie lets that out as an option. She doesnt tell them "NO", she knows they are in Hell and that's normal, and that redeeming the souls comes from EACH one of them. She knows Sir Pentious story, so she knows how to help.

That's why she hasn't been able to help Angel, because she didnt know the extend of the abuse. And since Angel didnt want help she couldn't do it.

So when we go into episode 4 you see the reasons why forcing yourself into helping isn't that easy. Sure, Charlie could have killed Valentino but that doesn't help Angel and what he is going through. It's not only the abuse, but the cycle of self-hatred that came with it. And it's not one day, it's a process and Charlie KNOWS THAT.

I dont know, im so used to see this "oh, one song, 2 episodes and we are all fine" it's refreshing seeing the protagonist actually stoping and say "this is not easy, i need to work with this people and find ways to help" instead of just pressuring them to change in one second or one single speech.

And that's how redemption works! It's a process and you have to start somewhere!

Im babbling at this point but like, props really to Charlie and how they are handling her character and her ideas.
