You remember how I told everyone the plot of Season 2 before it aired?
(Everyone tries to remember and then shakes their heads.)
That's right. I didn't. I spent several years going "wait and see". And you waited and you saw.
I'm not going to reveal any of the plot of Season 3, either. So there's really no point in asking me to make things happen, or to tell me what you do or you don't want to happen. I'm not going to.
we'll do fine.
oh, right with you.
this took me a little while to complete- the uncompressed file size ended up being 101mb. . . beeeg file,
here's a little comic, it's not completely show!gomens compliant but its headcanons i enjoy
comic notes under cut :)
I enjoy Az already realising he likes Crowley by the time Adam appears but hasn't yet worked out what to do with that information bc acts-of-service Crowley Can't Talk, Wont Talk.
Crowley on the other hand has been VERY GOOD at ignoring why he spends so much of his time around Az so only on the crux of YOU'RE GOING TO LOOSE HIM did anything manage to force its way through to his brain. (i did not enjoy crowley being told he was in love with az in s2, i think he could have worked it out himself)
i rly enjoy hcs where they started sleeping together and with humans for fun (i mean the ox ribs scene sets some v good precedent for this) az sleeps with humans bc he indulges! he likes pleasure! crowely on the other hand is very bad at catching feelings and doesnt like it when they die so has mostly only slept with az (did i mention he's VERY good at ignoring his feelings) but they probably haven't slept together for a few hundred years when adam pops up.
my compliant show!hcs are still that az knows he loves crowley (i mean the scene with jim where he leaps out of the chair to attempt to protect crowley saying no he defo doesnt know ANYONE who he feels that way with, don't look closely at anyone he is with) and is just sort of sitting on it still, waiting for any hint from crowley, planning a ball definitely only for humans and no other reason. Crowley is obviously very protective of Az but he still hasn't clicked why he's worried about him but he doesn't have the excuse of heaven or hell anymore so it wouldn't have taken much for him to work it out (hello one of his first lines in s2 is "you ever think, what's the point?" the point is love you idiot)
(book!gomens is just they're already married and have been fucking for centuries but the book just doesnt mention that.)

as both a good omens and red dead enthusiast i feel robbed
let's be honest, how else did we think he got all those fire extinguishers?
Im Sorry @vanillatheartist, tumblr destroyed your question while I was working on it, but I went on a whole rant on this!
So the way I draw is not how I would ever ever NEVER recommend, it's all fundamentals put into just doodling from one point to finish before even doing the gestures so I made a time-lapse solely do demonstrate that
My very annoy first tip is knowing the fundamentals of draftsmanship, learning from studying figures, that is not just draw from photos but see how artists draw figures also by seeing how the gestures are done. Don't know how to draw a pose? Use a reference, don't know how to approach a pose? Create an inspiration folder of photos and artworks. What is also very important to know when drawing dynamically is knowing perspective and how to foreshorten, figure out the tricks and keep pushing the forms further and further..
There is so much from fundamentals that go into this and I have studied anatomy so much to be able to draw like how I did in the video without having to look at anything because I have collected a memory bank from studying and perhaps I just watch way too much fighting movies and I like to at times just watch boxing so I know a thing or two that you need to know theoretically (Lets be real I have never got into serious fights before, how would I know if I can do these moves) how fighting styles are.
Now perhaps I could give you few tips that aren't annoying LOL
First tip is knowing how to let all forms flow, let it curve depending of the frame you are going for, let the flow lead the eye, knowing flow can help you push then even further, don't just stick to the first try, see if you can take it even further, push and toss the form even more, SHAPES SHAPES Even muscles will create the flow, don't stick too much to accuracy of muscles, let it also lead the flow and create shapes that neatily stack together, knowing the anatomy allows you to also break it
Once you realize how to use the flow to manipulate the forms you need to consider the planes, the planes go with the flow, don't let the planes work against the flow of your poses! Using Flow versus straight lines create an effective dynamic shapes so being able to push those against each other makes the shapes way more interesting.
The simpliest tip I give is this... don't make a symmetrical blob.... thats where you manipulate muscles *wink*
Now... the biggest tip to make the pose pop out is knowing how to foreshorten the limbs, the biggest mistake is trying to accurately have the muscle somehow overlap the front muscle, this is why I do it like this drawing, cut into with the straight line and into the muscle, then let the forms of the muscles keep overlapping the next, this is why I do a lot of circles, they help me decide all the overlapping and poses!
Now... I didn't show any gestures, because I think we all hear it too much either way, its one of the biggest fundamentals so do check tutorials for it if you are unsure how to do gesture lines for poses !
I hope this helps somehow, Its been forever I have made a tutorial and I think this has become way more precise as I continue trying to show what Im thinking!
i don't like to yuck people's yum but i have to say that my least favorite thing to come from the current state of Artists on the Internet is the idea of a sketchbook as something nice and pretty and shareable. like i love me a notebook full of gorgeous art don't get me wrong but that is NOT what a sketchbook is. a sketchbook is my friend who i carry around everywhere like a purse chihuahua. it is the physical manifestation of my notes app. it is the container into which i wring my brain out. it is my therapist. and most of all it is filled with absolutely terrible sketches that should never see the light of day.
Sometimes I think... they're all just speaking tongues...

Happy Good Omens day!
I made so much fan art of them back in 2019 and found this lil thing that I still find cute.
I remember there were debates in the thread if that was a tree or an explosion. It can be whatever you want it to be đ
It starts with him in heaven, an angel with a deep love and reverence for God and her creations, a love that he then pours into his work to bring Her vision of the stars to life. But just as he begun his work, he is given a message from God through Aziraphale that can be effectively summed up to ânothing lasts foreverâ. The physical manifestations of Crowleyâs passion and love will be erased in, what is to an angel, a blink of the eye. For forever God has always been the designer and Crowley, as an angel, has always been there to simply carry out Her plans. But it is here that Crowley begins to question and strain this unspoken relationship, desiring change.
So despite being warned, Crowley dares to test his relationship with God and questions the unspoken, only to be rejected and abandoned by her in the most visceral way imaginable. It was here that Crowley began his fall.
As a demon, Crowley comes to love Aziraphale and, just as he did with God, he expresses this intense love through acts of service. He takes him out to eat, he saves him, he bends at every whim to keep him happy and safe, and yet nothing is ever explicitly said. Instead they dance around each other and communicate in code, and so Crowley is left to assume.
But then just as with God, Crowley pushes his luck and says too much, asks for too much. He questions the comfortable unspoken dance theyâve been doing for centuries and asks for something more. In response, Aziraphale parrots what he had said in the very beginning, except this time itâs his own words: ânothing lasts foreverâ. Not the stars, not the bookshop, not love.
So despite being warned, Crowley kisses Aziraphale, posing his most desperate question. In return, he is rejected and abandoned by Aziraphale in the most visceral way imaginable.
Aziraphaleâs âI forgive youâ is a very loaded response, and while it rings as an attempt to call back to his and Crowleyâs old unspoken routine, it also reminds me a lot of God. Crowley falls in act of sin, and while God punished Crowley, She also forgives him for being a sinner because God forgives all sin. So Aziraphale forgives Crowley because again he has sinned. Again he has fallen.
At this point we realize Crowley did not just fall, thatâs past tense. Rather, Crowley is falling. He continues to love, dares to show it, and thus suffers the consequences.
