Bruh what if Schlatt was battling some inner demons and just, its him vs Tubbo. Tubbo has Schlatt defeated.. Almost.. And then...

"They taunted me. They stood among themselves in power. They treated me like I was nothing. They pity me.. And for what? Because I don't have the things they do? I don't have the power status they do?!.."

And he just, Schlatt falls to his knees, Tubbo holding the sword up to his neck.. Watching as tears roll down Schlatt's face.

"... I never wanted this. I never wanted... I only wanted to feel the way they did. I wanted to feel power... I wanted to matter."

He just, stares up at Tubbo, giving a broken smile.

"I wanted to be just like them... Just like him."

And cue Schlatt reaching his hand out to Tubbo.. Because he sees Tubbo as Dream in that moment.

"... Aren't I just like him?"
