A Thief in a Mansion by Wiolli (kaeya x albedo) | multi-chapter - this was so fucking gorgeous. so. gorgeous. i loved this so so so much. if you read it PLEASE talk to me about it.

you are the night time fear by PaintItBlack (childe x zhongli) | 22.4k words - god this is such a fucking good blend of smut and angst. it’s kinda long (just like zhongli’s di-) but WORTH IT

Hellbent by virixe (scaramouche x reader) - a literal NOVEL, incredible angst (some fluff, but mostly angst) and i’m normally not one to read angst. it’s literally so good i can’t even put into words how much i was engrossed in it. the author just finished it, i truly couldn’t stop checking for updates as it was coming out!

The Thief and the Harbingers by Lauren___manuel (scaramouche x reader, childe x reader) - PHEW i fell in-love with this depiction of childe so much. it’s being updated every friday!!

As a River Carves Through Mountains by go_ask_ash (childe x zhongli) - PHEW this combo of smut and angst and fluff… again, i’m usually not one for angst. but BOI is the angst in this incredible. i’m eagerly waiting for the next chapter to come out.

Meteor Shower by valkyrie_cha (childe x zhongli) - this had me all types of horny and emotional. it’s not finished, tho, and i don’t think ever will be. SO that’s a warning:’)

Gentleman’s Curfew by scattertxt (kaeya x albedo) - this is simultaneously tooth-rotting and spicy. what’s better than that???

Give and Take by lunalagnia (kaeya x albedo) - imma say it, something about inexperienced albedo with kaeya taking it slow is just … nice. also i just KNOW albedo’s lil diamond mark is sensitive.

the best decision by mylomanya (kaeya x albedo) - i’m typically one for top kaeya x sub albedo but this dom albedo is NICEEEEEEEE

My brain cannot stop turning around the idea of Niko watching Buzzfeed Unsolved in her room, reaching a hauntingly familiar story, and freaking out because why is Edwin on Buzzfeed Unsolved

She thinks he'll hate it, but he's kind of chuffed instead. At least those Buzzfeed guys remember him. He asks to watch the episode, and they spend the entire time laughing at the weirdass theories of what happened to him.

(Niko teases him for weeks about the alien abduction theory, of course. As any BFF should.)

We have lived through this before.

People said Gore wasn't good enough, that he was Bland and uninteresting and middle of the road and something had to change. So they voted third party or they didn't vote at all. And the Democratic party didn't wake up, and we got George W Bush and all the absolute hot garbage that came with him.

And they said Hillary Clinton was the wrong candidate, that she was middle of the road at best and conservative for the Democrats at worst, that she was entitled and they were going to vote for a third party or they didn't vote at all or worse yet, they voted for the other candidate as a joke because it's not like those votes change things, you know? And the Democratic party didn't magically wake up, they didn't majorly change, and we are still dealing with the fallout from that.

And that's not only twice in my lifetime, but twice in my voting lifetime. One of the important things you learn in therapy is that you cannot change other people, and you cannot set your expectations based on how you think they ought to react to certain things.

If you are refusing to vote, or voting third-party because of what you think it's going to make someone else do, please reconsider.

If you want to make the liberals or the centrists or whatever you want to call them wake up, you're going to need to do something that hasn't already been done twice in the last 20 years.
