there is a celestial rule, and it is that everything is about wife. Odysseus follows it <3
polites: look! a half-full glass!
eurylochus: its not a half-full glass. its just a glass with water inside.
odysseus: penelope used to drink water...
makes sense when you remember Tim was made to be an audience insert for the little boys consuming batman content. A mary sue but boy. A mark sue if you will
he is the fan pov. and a bad one too boo tomato tomato
Fanon is actually just Tim Drake's perspective on the Batfamily. He's walking around after a 23 and me test doing that white person thing where he's telling everyone he's Wasian, telling people his ex definitely didn't leave him for the weird girl your dad half adopted they're just sisters, oh and Ra's and Shiva love him actually.
alas, no song perfectly fits whatever thing they are 😔
Cass's pov of stephcass: thoughts?
Song: She Wants Me (To Be Loved) by The Happy Fits
the pic is the lyrics I thought fit best but it's honestly the entire song
sry if I'm being vague but I've sent two other asks that've errored out :(

have a good day and if I'm being annoying I'm so sorry!!
See, I'm a deeply watsonian soul. To me, StephCass is so special because they're so obviously soulmates, but they aren't easily defined. How are they soul mates? Are they qpr? Romantic? Do they fuck? Do they even kiss? Do they even realize they're together? Idk if anything but 2000's mall emo about deeply homoerotic friendship will ever really capture them, and even then that music can be a stretch. They're obsessed with eachother, they never talk about it, they'd die for eachother but they're still calling themselves friends as they crawl into their shared bed. What are they? Not in those pride specials, thank god.
if i was immortal killing myself would be my hobby and like i truly believe it would fix something in me. i do
I love the idea of Stephanie being like a drug dealer in a 80s PSA and any time one of the batkids strays too far from Bruce's watch she slides on in like "hey kids you wanna buy some friendship and whimsy? Don't you know all the cool kids are into emotional health and disobeying Batman?"
NASA released the clearest pictures yet of our neighbours in the solar system
Oh and of course us
Honourable mention
"He was a good father, but a terrible scientist." blah blah "Nothing here is worth coming back for. I have no home." or "The first time I killed a god, the golden ichor burned my skin. I wear gloves now."
That's cool and all but have you ever tried mixing cocaine into a Sprite?
best part of writing is coming up with a backstory for a character, thinking, "huh that sounds familiar" and then finding out some DC writer in 1950 wrote that exact backstory for his character "The Quangler" who fights specifically Nazi ducks or smth
It brings me so much joy that Jinx and Ekko show up to the final battle decked out in matching outfits and warpaint and equipped with new tech. They are accompanied by the Firelights and Sevika's Zaunites, but none of THEM are matching (f I wish they at least wore the Xs or a blue mark or smth just for funsies). I need to know at what point did they decide to re-tailor their clothes and paint all over themselves. Ekko's coat is obv the inspiration for the doodles, but whose idea was it to cover themselves head to toe in the crowns and Xs? Jinx obv had creative input, her green skeleton paint and other icons rock. And it was all done at separate times bc some are under the clothes, but others were clearly done AFTER the entire outfit has been assembled. Do you think the other Firelights felt left out, or did they all let out a collective breath of relief that they arrived late to the accessorizing party
