Scaramouche

HIS HAIR IS HELLA SOFTTT. He has seen your small glances at his hair, and eventually he will let you touch it.

Scaramouche was already laying on your shared bed when you walked in. His hat was off and he almost looked like he was sleeping. Not knowing if he was sleeping or not, you sat down next to him. Now letting intrusive thoughts get to you, you swept the hairs out of his face. You started to run your finger through his hair. You decided to stop after a while. You got ready to lay down and he snatched your hand and put it back on his head. "Keep doing that." He said sternly. He eventually fell asleep. (He would start playing with your hair too if you were trying to sleep)

Childe

He would never tell you, but he has wanted you to play with his hair for so long. He played with his siblings hair to help put them to sleep.

You two were at his family home for the week, your boyfriend had just put his siblings to bed. "Sorry to keep you waiting." He laughed and tackled you onto the couch. He was laying on top of you like the man child he was. You put your hand on the back of his head and ran your hand through his hair. It was a little messy, but nice overall. He had a lot of hair. It was a lot of thin strands. He immediately fell asleep on you. Now, when your hands are free he will grab your hand and put it on his head. (Play with his hair)

Albedo

Albedo HAS SOME NICE HAIR. HAVE YOU SEEN HIS HAIR? KSJSHDHS. It's soft man. He keeps it nice, but no one ever really asked to mess with it before? He wouldn't mind though.

You crept up behind him as he was working. "Albedo, you almost done?" You asked from behind him, your hands on his shoulders. "Not yet, perhaps another hour?" You rolled your eyes and watched him work for a few minutes. Your hand traveled from his shoulder to his nape. You moved your hand upwards torwards his hair. Messing with his hair, he started to relax into your hands. Goosebumps formed along his neck. "Oh that feels nice. Can you continue after I'm done?" He turned around to look at you, grabbing your cheek and leaving a kiss.

Xiao

Xiao and touch are still a difficult bunch, playing with his hair was one of the first types of physical touch you ignited with him.

He was resting when you get first let you touch his hair. Leaning against a rock, as he was doing some things around town. He doesn't really sleep, so when he took some time to rest his eyes, you figured to help him sleep you would touch his hair. Being gentle of course, you slowly put your hand on his head, moving some strands around. He was awake at this time, and he opened his eye to see you. You were innocently laying next to him, hand in his hair. Once he realized you were calmed and meant good things, he relaxed.

Ayato

Ayato was open to the idea of you playing with his hair, you could really do whatever you wanted. He loved your touch, yet he was a busy man.

You walked into the kitchen, he was leaning against the counter talking to Thoma. "Thoma!" You greeted and walked over to Ayato as he wrapped an arm around you. "You are dismissed Thoma." "I'll talk to you later my lord." Thoma smiled and left the room. "Well hello "My lord."" You kissed him and he began to deepen the kiss. Your hands moved quickly to his head, and started to mess with his hair. At this point, you were borderline making out, however he broke the kiss after a moment. "Mm, that feels nice." He smiled as you massaged his hair.

Heizou

HEIZOU HEUZOU PRETTY HAIR EJDH. He has nice hair and he knows it. He's played with your hair plenty, so why not pay him back?

Heizou came home all whiny from a mission he claimed was "Too easy." "No fun, I was hoping for something a little more challenging you know?" He was sitting in his office chair as you came up behind him and planted a kiss on his forehead. He tilted his head up, and you put your head on his and put your hands on his head, messing with his hair. He got out of his chair and dragged you over to the bed where you could continue massaging his head. "Oh archons please continue." He whined as you stopped for a moment.

Kazuha

Kazuha didn't like to put his hair down, he claimed it got in his way but he didn't want to cut it. He liked it the way it was, and you didn't blame him.

"Kazuha?" "Hm?" "Would you mind if I played with your hair?" He laughed at your question. "Of course not, we are alone and the wind isn't bothersome, therefore I suppose you could do what you like with my hair." He positioned himself to the point you could mess with his hair. His hair was a little tangly due to the wind, but after a while if brushing it with your fingers it became soft and fluffy. He would ask if you would like it too, so he could know what you liked too 😉

There is that hidden mischievous nature of kazuha that drives you insane and his inability to hold back when it comes to riling you up. He isn't as docile as his face lets on and often times uses it to his advantage.

Though his calm and composed poise may have attributed to this common misconception, you're not so easy to be deceived but it's no hard work for Kazuha to string you along his little mind games.

That enchanting pull of his lips when he comes close just within kissing distance and yet not exactly granting you even the lightest of peck on your lips. When you're desperately inching forward, he pulls back just a little bit. He's teasingly dangling that promised temptation just within your reach.

You can feel him smile through the warm puff of his breath fanning your cheeks. This almost made you whine, scrambling closer on his lap, hands fisting against his clothes.

"Kazuha... Please..."

When you beg, his hand around your waist, rubs sensually against your back as if in consolation. The pad of his palms follows along your spine as it dips inside your shirt. Heat follows his touch that makes something blossom from within you.

Kazuha grants you amnesty with a trail of kisses to your jaw, his soft and warm lips making contact with your skin. It's a little wet and you can feel his devilish grin when he retreats from your glare.

In the distance, you hear a scream followed by frantic footsteps running in different directions and you cling tightly against Kazuha. Both of your hands circling around his shoulders as your eyes try to look for the source.

"Relax." You hear him whisper, his smooth voice making you shudder in delight. He must have felt your apprehension. "No one can see us here."

Kazuha's hand begins to wander upward, sliding from your hips, to your sides, until he's cupping your cheeks. His thumb is rubbing circle against your cheek, where heat begins to rise, and lays upon your lower lip and wipes it. He presses against your body, wanting to be as close as possible, and tilts his head to aim for a kiss.

After what felt like forever, you feel the languid sway of his lips on you, breathing what's left of the oxygen you have at the lightheaded kiss he's offering in apology for the tease. It's patronizing, the way he moves and knowing exactly how you want it to be. He savors every touch to bask in the intimacy and desire to be alone together after quite a while that he's been away overseas.

You follow along his tango, missing him just the same as your hand comes up behind his neck, fingers digging through the soft tresses of his hair.

You hear another shout and the sharp voice of Paimon followed by another round of what seems like a fight. It's quite faraway but that doesn't stop you from worrying that you might get caught as you try to bury yourself as closely as you can against Kazuha. He chuckles against your lips and squeezes you in a hug as if telling you to focus.

"I can't believe this-" you try to speak through the kiss. "-is how I'll be spending my most awaited day off."

You humm softly feeling delirious and lightheaded. You're getting out of breath, heart racing wildly against your chest, and yet you still can't quite get enough of him as you pull him closer and closer to you.

Kazuha's tempo begins to pick up as he tries to keep your mouth shut. He can hear Aether and Paimon slowly making their way to where you are. It's like the torch of avarice had been ignited inside him that he's feeling the urgency. He's groping all over your body, touching more and more with fervor.

"Do you think the dango milk is around here?" You picked up Paimon's voice and you're pushing yourself up from Kazuha's lap who refuses to let go of your hand. "Oh! Is that-"

Suddenly, you're hearing Paimon calling out for your name, finding your spot in a dense area of trees.

"We've been looking all over for the dango milk but we can't find it! What about you two? Any success from your search?"

Aether glances at you then moves to Kazuha who's slowly standing from his spot in narrowed eyes as if he knows exactly what you were doing. Kazuha is nonchalantly dusting off whatever dirt that might be clinging to his clothes and shoot the two a soft smile.

You cough against your fist to hide your blush and straighten out your clothes as discreetly as you can from the gazes of the two.

One thing is only certain from what Aether could see, Kazuha is definitely on a different kind of search.

how they act in a haunted house

including: childe, zhongli, scaramouche, al haitham, thoma, xiao, and kaeya.

warnings: gender neutral reader, mentions of some scary stuff, fluff.

notes: happy almost halloween!

childe. 

oh, childe is just so confident he won’t get scared. 

he strolled through the entrance without so much as a frown while you trailed behind him, still wondering if this experience would be worth it, given you both had to sign a waver. but that didn’t seem to bother childe; in fact, he looked completely at ease as you walked down a shadowed hallway, the only light source a flickering light bulb. 

yes, childe was the poster child of “unbothered”—until the first actor came running down the hallway, chainsaw in hand and a slightly too realistic mask on his face. 

that was the end of childe’s bravado, and you, as you correctly predicted, ended up having the be the one to get you two out of there. childe clutched your arm the entire way

zhongli. 

zhongli is bored. 

he’s seen a lot of unpleasantness in his lifetime. and this? twenty dollar entry haunted house, filled with underpaid actors in poorly made costumes? it didn’t even come close to scaring him. 

and that would have been fine, really. you were the one who wanted to go and have a scare; zhongli was just tagging along. but the moment you arrived at the attraction, he just kept going on and on about this thing’s obviously fake, this actor’s mask isn’t on right, this jumpscare’s strings are above. 

when an actor in what you thought to be a pretty horrifying clown costume jumped out at you, zhongli only pointed out how unrealistic it was.

you didn’t make it throughout the entire house. not because of fear, but mostly because you couldn’t stand another lecture on how fake everything looked. 

scaramouche. 

the haunted house you picked out was scary, but scaramouche was… scarier. 

when an actor covered in fake-blood came running at you two, they just kind of stopped when they saw scaramouche’s glower. and then they were turning around and running away; scaramouche had scared them. with just his bad temper and annoyance with nearly everyone except for you, scaramouche was more terrifying than literal killer clowns and chainsaw-wielding murders. 

so there you two were: simply walking through the admittedly-scarily decorated attraction. no actors dared try and jumpscare you and scaramouche, lest they wanted to face his wrath. 

when you got out, you asked if he would consider working at a haunted house. he turned his menacing stare on you, and you understood why the actors didn’t bother you throughout the experience. 

he truly was the most terrifying thing in that house. 

al haitham. 

he, like zhongli, is very undisturbed by the whole ordeal. but unlike the former, al haitham doesn’t say this out loud. 

no, he played his cards right. you were there, shaking after being chased by yet another clown while he looked completely unbothered. but oh, he lent you his arm, promised you get you of there unscathed, nothing would hurt you while he was there. 

al haitham was the picture perfect hero, leading you out of the house while internally scoffing at the cheap costumes and even cheaper jumpscares and tricks. he almost laughed out loud when you reached a banquet table with someone’s head in the middle, but stopped himself when he saw how wide your eyes were. 

when you were both out, you swore you would never go back. but al haitham thought to convince you to try again; he liked being the shining hero, at least for one night. 

thoma. 

thoma is actually lowkey terrified. 

he tries to play it cool, he really does, but you didn’t miss his shaking hand when you had to sign that waver.

you asked him if he was sure he wanted to do this, and he was, so you went inside and…

you didn’t make it all the way through. not you, not thoma. you were both shaking and clutching each other equally tight after an actor chased you down a dark hallway, into the path of a particular gory jumpscare. you could have sworn thoma almost fainted. 

and that was that. you turned and, admittedly, ran back through the entrance, to the car, and away from that abomination of an attraction. 

xiao. 

xiao does not want to go in. 

not because he’s scared. at least, that’s what he told you. xiao would wait for you while you went in and had a fright, and you with some reluctance, agreed. 

but after thirty minutes of you going in and not coming out, he starts to get restless. worried, even, as the group that went in after you came out before you.

xiao tried to convince himself it was fine, you were just taking your time, or whatever. but then another ten minutes went by and, now actually worried, decided it was time to go and find you. 

he told himself this was all fake, the actors weren’t real, this was—

something tackled him from behind and he quite literally screamed. he turned and saw—

you. grinning. ear to ear. 

no, the haunted house didn’t scare him (at least, not really), but you certainly had. 

kaeya. 

please. please. 

kaeya is what childe tried to be. he’s actually confident as he marches into the house, laughing at the poor actor’s sweaty makeup, the obviously fake chainsaws and knifes. 

basically walks right and in and out with you dragged behind him. he doesn’t even pause for you two to look at the more gruesome displays or creepy portraits on display. kaeya literally speedruns the haunted house. 

the only time when kaeya’s bravado falters is at the end, when he realizes that you both paid twenty dollars for that. 

you were out in ten minutes. he realizes you two just spent four dollars a minute on that, and maybe regrets going through it that fast. 

bonus: scaramouche wasn’t even purposely glaring at anyone. he just has an intense resting bitch face.
