Going to a party where an art ho does ketamine with an ex-nfl player next to an autistic racist who won’t shut up about the moon landing is not fascism, it’s just a good party; and fiction that is insufficiently progressive is still fiction, and should be judged on literary merit—it’s not “blah blah blah fascist influence

I smoke marijuana every chance I get.

I sit in my house for days on end and stare at the roses in the closet.

When I go to Chinatown I get drunk and never get laid.

My mind is made up there’s going to be trouble. -Ginsberg

here’s all

these Millbrae and San Carlos neat-necktied producers and

commuters of America and Steel civilization rushing by with San

Francisco Chronicles and green Call-Bulletins not even enough

time to be disdainful, they’ve got to catch 130, 132, 134, 136 all

the way up to 146 till the time of evening supper in homes of the

railroad earth when high in the sky the magic stars ride above

the following hotshot freight trains--it’s all in California, it’s all a

sea, I swim out of it in afternoons of sun hot meditation in my

jeans with head on handkerchief on brakeman’s lantern or (if not

working) on book, I look up at blue sky of perfect lostpurity and

feel the warp of wood of old America beneath me - Ole jack

The introduction of new ingredients from the Americas, such as tomatoes, potatoes, and peppers, had a gradual impact on Italian cuisine over time.

Polenta, made from grains like spelt, rye, barley, and millet, was a staple in Italian cuisine since ancient times, often associated with the diet of the poor.

Legumes and nuts, like beans and chestnuts, were commonly used alongside grains to make bread, polenta, or soup.

Maize (corn) eventually replaced other grains as the main ingredient in polenta.

Too funny Mattel and WB just pulled the greatest PR stunt of all time. Its like the Ocean 11 of Ad campaigns

I bet you a million dollars if I went back in time to like, idk, 2018, and I went around asking random ass people if Barbie was a feminist icon, a brand of feminist thought, a model of feminist thinking and the enlightened female, I bet you five billion dollars nobody would say shit about Barbie being fucking great, I guaran-fucking-tee you they would laugh at me for asking such a dumb fucking Neanderthal type question, I bet every educated female in a ten block radius would say you’ve gotta be one of the dimmest fucking men I have ever encountered, you goddamn troglodyte, Barbie is a sexy doll for young girls which radically destroys all chance of a normal body image, and her attempts at broadening her appeal to those who don’t fit the thin, pretty mold only throw into stark relief the damage the Barbie doll has done to every young girl since puberty, you absolute moron, there will never be a day when Barbie will be thought of as a free-thinking and actualized woman, and any attempt to make her into one will be seen as the soulless vapid re-brand that it truly, truly is.

Like the octopi, our destiny is to become what we think, to have our thoughts become our bodies and our bodies become our thoughts. This is the essence of the more perfect Logos envisioned by the Hellenistic polymath Philo Judaeus—a Logos, an indwelling of the Goddess, not heard but beheld.

Hans Jonas explains Philo Judaeus's concept: A more perfect archetypal logos, exempt from the human duality of sign and thing, and therefore not bound by the forms of speech, would not require the mediation of hearing, but is immediately beheld by the mind as the truth of things.

From my other blog

The Process Of Making These Is:

The process of making these is:

Collect comics and beer labels, put the beer label on a piece of paper. (Peel it off while can is full)

Find comics and beer labels with similar themes or colors. This takes a while and involves comic book shopping.

Cut out comics into fun shapes.

To put it together I drink a ton of beer with my wife and sister listen to classic rock and do blow. It makes it a fun process and seems to dial in the art itself. Outlaw country!!!

The syntactical nature of reality, the real secret of magic, is that the world is made of words. And if you know the words that the world is made of, you can make of it whatever you wish.
