SAY HIS NAME: Nex Benedict, another 16 YEAR OLD was murdered in Oklahoma, news channels are deadnaming and misgendering him, just like with Brianna Ghey here in the UK. But I urge you to not let your grief drive you to despair. GET ANGRY. Do not become apathetic, do not let grief numb you. Stand united as a community, lean on each other, have each others back. Reach out to any trans individuals of any age and make sure they have support in some capacity. Speak with your family, your political representatives, your school, anywhere, with anyone, that may be able to make some change, whether big or small. Everything builds, that is the power of a movement, of solidarity. If you make life a bit safer for one trans youth once, then you may have saved their life that day. And that kid might then show some other kid that there is hope, and so they live as well. And it grows.

Lack of acceptance isn't "protecting" anyone. Lack of acceptance isn't keeping anyone "safe" . Your children are growing up to be hateful and cruel to those who are unique. Your children are growing up to kill the differences because they're scared of what they don't understand. You're setting them up for failure. How many deaths will it take? How many innocents will be MURDERED before you understand? You will never understand the pure fear of having someone you love go to school in a homophobic place, knowing they could be another headline. You will never understand the fear of someone you love even considering beating these people to the punch. Next time you look on your tv and go to complain about "yet another queer character" think about this. Think about the kids who were murdered. Next time you want to remove books because of their "propaganda" think about the adults who were murdered. Next time you want to complain about kids using the bathroom of their actual gender think about all the innocent lives that were lost. They're not just names. They were people. They were loved. They were family. They were friends. And now they're gone.

Recently learned that I'm allergic to meat. (I thought not being able to swallow because your throat is closed after eating meat was normal. Not sure why) And my partner knows, they're well aware. They're the one who was like "That is an allergy" and are like super against me eating meat now. But, I love burgers. I lovvveeeeeeeeeee cheeseburgers. Even if I can't breathe or swallow after. I love having flags and labels that are so rarely known that oblivious homophobic people wouldn't even be able to tell that its what that is. I have a plastic egg painted with the aroace flag taht my grandmother (homophobic) has seen and not noticed, same for my qpr painted fake plant pot and power bank. I just got shoes this morning and painted them with the uranic oriented aroace flag and the pangender flag and she had no clue. look, I'm very sex favorable. I even engage in the devils tango as an asexual. however, I get nauseous seeing so many naked bodies, and they are plastered all over the asexual tag. seriously. I get that people are just tossing every lgbt tag on their sexy posts for traction but maybe leave off the one literally about not feeling sexual attraction.
