“Where are you taking me?” Jay asked as he was dragged across Ninjago City by Kai.
“Just wait.”
“Just wait.” Jay mocked, “You know that I’m not that patient, Kai.”
“Well, if you just stopped whining and maybe looked around at the city, you wouldn’t be so bored.”
“Well, if we weren’t going so quickly, maybe I would be able to do that.”
Kai rolled his eyes. “Well, then just wait. It won’t be much longer, you big baby.”
Jay gasped dramatically, “Excuse me?! I’m not a b-”
“We’re here!” Kai exclaimed, pointing to a small building on the street corner. “It’s not much, just a small cafe, but you said nothing too big, and their cinnamon rolls are amazing-”
“Then let’s go!” Jay laughed, pulling Kai up to and through the doors. He ran up to the counter almost immediately.
“Fast, are we?” Kai smiled, “My favorite are the cinnamon rolls of course, but their doughnuts and cakes are really good too.”
“Can we get one of everything, then?”
Kai’s eyes lit up. “Yes.”

Soon they were sat at a table, each and every pastry they had to offer on plates in front of the two of them.
“So you’ve been keeping this place from all of us? The whole team?” Jay asked, taking a bite out of a crêpe. “This is really good.”
“Uh, not the whole team? I’ve taken Nya here before.” Kai hummed, grinning ear to ear. “I’ve been waiting for a moment like this, and I guess this is it?”
“You mean take me on a date?”
“Yeah, pretty much.”
“We are not telling Cole or Lloyd about this place. This is now ours.”
Kai couldn’t hold in his laugh.
And if someone ever saw that they walked onto the Bounty late that night with at least 5 bags of sweets, they never said anything.

A day where you give your partners or close friends yellow flowers 💛💛💛 receiving yellow flowers is a symbol of love and loyalty!! It’s a newer tradition in Latino America inspired by the Argentinian telenovela Floricienta, where the protagonists sings about receiving yellow flowers as a gesture of love. It’s celebrated on the 21st since in the south hemisphere, as you might know, rather than the beggining of fall, it’s the beggining of spring!! Anyways, I wanted to draw plasma since I haven’t been doing very great lately and they’ve been pretty comforting lol I dunno, so here! Plasma fanart be upon you!!
plasma kissing mfffgghh………. jay definitely accidentally electrocuted kai the first time they kissed (and a few times after) and he got So Incredibly Flustered and apologised profusely but kai secretly loves it. and every time it happens he’s all like oh no. jay. you shocked me again. guess you’ll have to kiss it better

oughhh i’m sorry i really am the most stereotypical ninjago fan when it comes to designs but jay being shorter than kai is so dear to me . … them reuniting after jay finally gets his memories back n kai picks him up n swings him slightly so his legs dangle when they hug ❤️💙
i aslso just think jay being allmost theeee perfect height for kai’s favorite affectionate gesture ever (forehead kisses) is everything . to me at least . guh
am i a loser ? yeah . do i care ? yeah but not enough to hide this from the public
look, i dont make the rules, i just Know that as well as other things, both Jay and Kai’s love language is gift giving, though they both have questionable taste and would buy the tackiest things at a thrift shop for eachother
