I LOVE It When You Finally Figure Out How Your Oc World Works And Have Your Story Click Together Like

Caramelldansen turns 20 this year and frankly I am not prepared for that.

So, I'm looking at this overhead shot of the Daycare layout while I wait for word on this game being ported to a system I own, and it's becoming very obvious that Sun and Moon have been isolated for quite a while

In addition to all those big thick cables running around the place that are attached to generators, they're also linked up to floodlights that are constantly directing bright beams of light across the vicinity

A layout like this seems to be a lawsuit waiting to happen for an area meant to contain small children, so the only logical explanation is that the Daycare has been this way for a while, and Sun/Moon have been isolated for longer than we've been aware of.

Since the other animatronics aren't allowed into the Daycare (based off of what Freddy said), and the idea that the area seems to be modified to be constantly flooding light, I'd have to guess that Sunny and Moon were probably the first ones infected with the Afton Virus and were quarantined from the others to curb the spread, but it didn't help because it was already spread through the network or something.

No wonder Sundrop was so ecstatic to see Gregory the first time; he's been by himself for so long that he hasn't seen a child in ages (and he was built and programmed to babysit children all day), and was probably going nuts walking around the empty Daycare with nothing to do.

What a drastic difference from what Sun (and even Moon) displays when you so much as tip over a tower of canisters, since they'll start going into a panic and wail about it being a mess and having to pick up and stack them back up. They'll stop everything to do this, like it bothers them to leave it as anything less.

The staff has clearly neglected them. Especially with all the obvious grimy handprints and poor condition of thier casing. Sun and Moon probably don't even really know what's been happening and why they've been left alone for so long, and they're probably trying to keep everything neat and orderly in the main area in hopes that everything can go back to normal or something...

Clearly, the Daycare Attendant was patient zero for the Afton Virus, likely Moon in particular since he apparently does nighttime patrols of the Pizzaplex, and it's implied in those recordings of Vanessa's therapy sessions that someone has been fiddling with the systems at night after hours, and those scrapped emails from FNAF AR seems to lean towards the possibility of a virus being leaked into there.

I wonder if it has to do with that arcade machine seen in thier room, since that game seems to have a digital depiction of them being corrupted by the end of the minigame. 👀

I swear, when I get this game, I am going through this whole level with a fine tooth comb to see as much detail as I can find. I can't really explain this other than I haven't been this intrigued by a minor character in a video game since Mephiles from Sonic 06.

Brother 1: What if Shiny and Thunder are botbots?

Brother 2: Thunder would be a computer!

Me: Thunder would be an advanced tech computer but what about Shiny?

Brother 1: I don't know, he would be an old computer?

Me: Nah, he's round. There's no old computer that's round.

Brother 2: What about a rubber ball?

Me: A big rubber ball..?

Sister: No a bowling ball!!

Brother 1: Eh, sure why not?

Me: A bowling ball botbot that claims the advanced tech computer as his little brother.. Neat.

Still bothered by the US cultural idea that men can only be non-romantically intimate with one another in war-like or competitive circumstances.

I like to imagine the reason Thunder tripped out but Shiny didn’t in episode 8 is because Thunder just has Sensory Issues, and the bright lights triggered it, but since he doesn’t have the programming for a meltdown he just glitched out to acting like That.

And anyways my main point with this is that Thunder could get tripped out by a well lit disco ball. Which, lets be honest, would be HORRIBLE at a party.

But really what I see this leading to is a kaiju having rave lights and Thunder needing to fight it blind and Shiny instructing him like-

Shiny: alright bro now slide to the left- okay slide to the right- criss cross!!

Thunder: Shiny, are you just quoting the “Chacha Slide-” *(gets whacked by the kaiju’s tail and sent flying)*

Shiny, quietly and awkwardly while Thunder crashes into a nearby building: ……Chacha real smooth???
