Like we all know his a bad dad but WOW I forgot how bad he is. I haven't re-watched the show in a while and I thought "maybe he isn't as bad as I remembered. HIS FAVORITISM HAS GOTTEN TO THE POINT WHERE LORELAI IS OK WITH SAYING THAT HE DOSEN'T LIKE MOLLY AND IT BEING TRUE. I MEAN HE NEVER ONCE IN THE SHOW OR BOOK SHOWS THAT HE LOVES OR EVEN LIKES HIS KIDS

the reason that he is a girl asked him to vore her(its the most impactful moment in the show) and because she is the only human he ate he defaults to her form(or he defaults to her do to sentimental value).

the reason he is a child is that he is pretty childish(he says stuff like "amazeballs" unironeky) so a grown adult saying that would sound weird so a childish body fits better
