(Francesco es un nombre comΓΊn en Italia, tambiΓ©n es el nombre de nuestro Santo PatrΓ³n. Como italiana, nunca he oΓdo antes* de βFelicianoβ);
DejΓ© el mismo apellido escogido por Himaruya sΓ³lo porque βVargasβ es un apellido italiano existente. (Si quieres saber, es realmente el nombre de jugador de fΓΊtbol);
Alemania= Ludwig Schmidt
(Solamente cambiΓ© el apellido, pienso que Schmidt es mΓ‘s comΓΊn en Alemania y suena similar al original);
JapΓ³n= Daisuke Honda (Kiku es un nombre simbΓ³lico, realmente hermoso y raro, pero he pensado en darle a JapΓ³n un nombre comΓΊn. Honda es un apellido japonΓ©s famoso, nada que decir acerca de eso);
USA= George F. Jones (El apellido asΓ estΓ‘ perfecto, supongo. George es por George Washington y F. se queda por el mismo segundo nombre* que Kennedy);
UK= Arthur Thompson (No estaba segura sobre este. La primera vez pensΓ© acerca de nombrarlo comoΒ βOliverβ debido a su popularidad y por Oliver Twist, oΒ βJohnβ. Pero entonces me di cuenta que Arthur estΓ‘ bien y es simbΓ³lico tambiΓ©n. AsΓ que he cambiado el apellido. Kirkland era bastante anΓ³nimo y querΓa algo que pudiera sonar mΓ‘s britΓ‘nico);
Francia= François Bonnefoy
(Solamente transformΓ© βFrancisβ, la cual es la versiΓ³n inglesa del nombre, en FranΓ§ois, bastante usado y βfrancΓ©sβ);
Rusia= Ivan Vasilyev (Β‘Braginski era un apellido polaco! He escogido algo que aΓΊn sonaba como βBranginskiβ, pero que a la vez fuese un verdadero apellido ruso);
China= Yao Wang (No encontrΓ© nada para cambiar aquΓ);
EspaΓ±a= Antonio Fernandez GarcΓa; (Antonio estaba bien, tambiΓ©n FernΓ‘ndez es popular. Solamente he removido Carriedo para reemplazarlo con GarcΓa, el cual se utiliza en gran parte de EspaΓ±a/paΓses hispanohablantes);
Prusia= Gilbert Schmidt (Gilbert era perfecto, solamente cambiΓ© el apellido);
Austria= Roderich Amadeus Wagner (Roderich estaba bien. He agregado βAmadeusβ por Mozart y cambiΓ© el apellido a βWagnerβ, siendo todavΓa un nombre de compositor. La combinaciΓ³n de estos tres me da me una impresiΓ³n de nobleza);
HungrΓa= ΓgnΓ¨s HorvΓ‘th (La renombrΓ© totalmente. ΓgnΓ¨s no sΓ³lo es tierno*, sino que tambiΓ©n poco usado, creo. EncontrΓ© que HorvΓ‘th es uno de los apellidos mΓ‘s comunes en HungrΓa);
Belarus= NataΕlia ArΕoΕskaja (Lo dejo como estaba; pero cambiΓ© la forma en que estaba escrito*);
Egypt= Muhammad Hassan Al-Nur; (Okay, Muhammad y Hassan son muy populares entre nombre Γ‘rabes, asΓ que los dejΓ© asΓ. Pero encontrΓ© que Gupta era un apellido hindΓΊ y que la letraΒ βpβ no existe en arΓ‘be. Entonces hice una lista de apellidos lindos y, al final, Al-Nur fue el ganador por encima del resto);
Estonia= Eduard Tamm (Tamm es bastante comΓΊn);
Finlandia= Timo HΓ€mΓ€lΓ€inen (Tino realmente no era un nombre finlandΓ©s, pero TiMo sΓ. HΓ€mΓ€lΓ€inen es mΓ‘s comΓΊn y una buena alterativa para VΓ€inΓ€mΓΆinen, que no es un apellido real);
Grecia= Ξlexandros Ypsilanti; (Alexandros es un buen, conocido y elegante nombre. Alexandros Ypsilanti es tambiΓ©n el nombre de un hΓ©roe nacional, durante la guerra de la independencia de Grecia);
Letonia= Raivis Liepa; (Raivis sΓ era un nombre letΓ³n, asΓ que ΒΏPor quΓ© no conservarlo asΓ? Solamente cambiΓ© el apellido, Galante es en realidad un apellido italiano);
Lituania= Laurynas Valaitis (CambiΓ© todo aquΓ para hacerlo realista, pero tambiΓ©n para que sonara similar a βToris Laurinaitisβ);
Polonia= Feliks Εukasiewicz (Es normal justo como estΓ‘);
Sealand= Peter Thompson (SΓ³lo cambiΓ© el apellido);
Corea del Sur= Kim Yong Soo (Tal y como estaba);
Suiza= Noah Schweizer (Noah se usa comΓΊnmente en todos los cantones, y el apellido suena germano);
First Name, Second Name, Last Name GeorgeΒ Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β F.Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Β Jones
A mi parecer. Gusto personal.
Hello everyone! Letβs talk about it: one of the most annoying issues about Hetalia are *drum roll* the NAMES, people. Charactersβ names/surnames, yes. So, with my friend, I wanted to give them a more βrealisticβ trait, starting with my nationβs one, Italy. I tried to change ONLY canon names, not those who are not decided yet (such as Belgiumβs or Ukraineβs, for example). Some of them remained unchanged, because of specific reasons, but I would be glad if all of you could help me with your home country. Letβs begin!
N.Italy= Francesco Vargas (Francesco is a common name in Italy, also is our St. Patronβs name. As an italian, Iβve never head before of βFelicianoβ);
S.Italy= Salvatore Vargas (Salvatore is a typical southern name, very common in South Italy. Also here, Lovino is not an italian name.)
I left the same surname chosen by Himaruya just because βVargasβ is an existent italian surname. (If you want to know, itβs actually the name of a football player);
Germany= Ludwig Schmidt (Only changed the surname here, I think Schmidt is more common in Germany and its sound is similar to the original surnameβs one);
Japan= Daisuke Honda (Kiku is a symbolic name, really beautiful and rare, but Iβve thought to give Japan a common name. Honda is a famous japanese surname, nothing to say about it);
USA= George F. Jones (The surname isperfect as it is, I guess. George is for George Washington and F. stays for the same Kennedyβs second name );
UK= Arthur Thompson (I was insecure about his name. At the first time I thought about bames as βOliverβ, because of his popularity and because of Oliver Twist, or βJohnβ. But then I realised that Arthur is good and symbolic as well. So, Iβve changed the surname. Kirkland was pretty anonymous and I wanted something that could have sounded more british);
France= FranΓ§ois Bonnefoy (Only transformed Francis, which was the english version of the name, in FranΓ§ois, very used and βfrenchβ);
Russia= Ivan Vasilyev (Braginski was a polish surname! Iβve chosen something that still sounded like βBraginskiβ, but at the same time was a real russian surname);
China= Yao Wang (I didnβt found anything to change here);
Spain= Antonio Fernandez GarcΓa; (Antonio was good, also Fernandez is popular. Iβve only removed Carriedo in order to replace it with GarcΓa, which is largely used in Spain/countries with a spanish toungue);
Prussia= Gilbert Schmidt (Gilbert was perfect, only changed the family name);
Austria= Roderich Amadeus Wagner (Roderich was ok. Iβve added βAmadeusβ, because of Mozart and changed the surname in βWagnerβ, still a composerβs name. The combination of this three names gives me some sort of nobility impression);
Hungary= ΓgnΓ¨s HorvΓ‘th (Totally renamed her. ΓgnΓ¨s is not only cute, but also a bit used, I guess. I found HorvΓ‘th to be one of the commonest surnames in Hungary);
Canada= Matthew Williams (I donβt see nothing wrong here, maybe it has to be something francophone in there?);
Belarus= NataΕlia ArΕoΕskaja (Leave it as it was; but changed the way it was written);
Egypt= Muhammad Hassan Al-Nur; (Okay, Muhammad and Hassan are very popular among arabics names, in fact I just leave them to be. But, I found out that Gupta was an Indian surname and also the letter βpβ kinda donβt exist in arabic. Soooo Iβve made a list of some cute surname and, at last, Al-Nur won among the others);
Estonia= Eduard Tamm (Tamm is pretty common);
Finland= Timo HΓ€mΓ€lΓ€inen (Tino actually wasnβt a finnish name, but TiMo yes. HΓ€mΓ€lΓ€inen is rather common and itβs a good alternative to VΓ€inΓ€mΓΆinen, that is not a real surname);
Greece= Ξlexandros Ypsilanti; (Alexandros is a good, widespread and elegant name. Alexandros Ypsilanti, is also a national heroβs name, during the greek war of indipendence);
Latvia= Raivis Liepa; (Raivis was an actual latvian name, so why donβt keep it? Only the surname changed, Galante was an italian one);
Lithuania= Laurynas Valaitis (Iβve changed everything here, in order to make it realistic, but also to make it sound like βToris Laurinaitisβ as well);
Poland= Feliks Εukasiewicz (It is just normal as it is);
Sealand= Peter Thompson (Only changed his family name);
S.Korea= Kim Yong Soo (Just as it was before);
Sweden= Gustav LindstrΓΆm (Gustav was the name of many swedish kings. LindstrΓΆm is commonly used, I think.)
Switzerland= Noah Schweizer (Noah is commonly used in all the cantons, the surname has a german sound);
Turkey= SadΔ±k Adnan (Almost the same. The name is written in turkish)

Yes, I'm bringing fuel to the ship wars, ik. But this is only for fun!! (and I'm curious about the current state of the fandom about the ships).

I almost forgot about these folks, so sorry about that! Also, I didn't know whether to put Czech Republic or Czechia but Czechia sounds nicer.
