"I'm bored" is... technically true. In a sense. Personally, I think it's a very simple and vague allusion to the real problem. That thin sheet of snow coating a massive, freezing cold iceberg. Just barely obscuring it from proper view.

imo it's been a bit disappointing seeing people take to extremes with Burning Spice's character. I've seen people either woobify him, downplay or excuse his actions by saying "he's not evil! He's hurting! He's depressed! He doesn't hate people, he's lashing out because he can't internalize his pain anymore!", or just demand he be put to death immediately on sight without trial. You can like a morally repulsive character and sympathize with their issues while also acknowledging that they're repulsive and need to face justice for their crimes. Burning Spice is one of my favorite characters, I love everything about him, he's sexy as fuck, I understand why he's the way he is, I'm still happy to see his ass beat because he's a piece of shit and he deserves it lol.

Not to throw shade at "simpler" villains ofc. I love me some assholes that are assholes just because they can be. Like Jack Horner in Puss in Boots 2. But Burning Spice isn't Jack Horner and he honestly shouldn't be. The deeper, sadder, more complex reasons governing his actions suit him better than just "I'm bored fuck this shit" and nothing else ykwim

and of course, he's still wrong. Burning Spice's view of the world is wrong. Does a book begin just to end? Does a song play just to finish in a few minutes' time? No. They begin so that we may read, listen, and enjoy. So that they may make us laugh, or have us shake our heads in disappointment, or tell us some hidden truth. Make our days and lives a little more interesting than they were before. Life is beautiful BECAUSE it is fleeting. Born, grow, wither, born, grow, wither. Yes, that's how it goes. But there's so much more to those things than just what we can gather from those three words. Every day is different. Though the sun rises every morning without fail, it's never quite the same color, is it? Always a bit of a different shade of yellow, orange, red, bleeding into the sky a little differently each time. There are so many things to see and do, games to play, people to meet and love and cherish. Maybe some of those things and those people won't be here someday but that doesn't mean their existence never meant anything. We are not born to die, we are born to live. We must die for those who are to live, and live for those who have died. Regardless, we must never lose sight of the intrinsic value of all that surrounds us. Burning Spice very much did. Underneath his bitterness and anger and (not unfounded, to be fair) lamentation for the unstoppable cycle of life and death is a deep-rooted selfishness and fundamental lack of understanding and appreciation for life and other people. In the face of despair, he gave in and chose evil. He was and is wrong for doing so, regardless of why he did it. He could've stepped down. He could've just admitted he didn't have what it took to be the Herald of Change. Hell, if he really hates being alive so much, he would've committed suicide a LONG time ago. But he never did any of that; instead he chose to inflict an equal or greater suffering on everything and everyone else, even the undeserving. And for that he MUST pay. And Golden Cheese, with her personality and her experiences and the wisdom she came to attain when faced with the exact same despair as Burning Spice, is exactly the right person to make him do that

Silver has numerous stitches on his hands from Totodile biting him. Whenever he’d try to pick her up, she’d bite his hand, and stay there as Silver would start yelling at her to get off his hand. Totodile finds this amusing and does it often, and this is also the reason why Silver usually keeps Totodile in her Pokéball.

Sonic The Hedgehog:

Maria is a Robnik so like…she’d want to build robots to help people, she used to on the ark, and like, Tails also makes inventions to help people and so he reminds Shadow of Maria and takes his grief out on Tails. (Sorry buddy-)

Ancients Sealed AU - Chapter 1

Uhh my silly little crk au where after each beast fought their ancient, the beasts managed to seal away the ancients in the same tree. They brought the tree to the ivory pagoda and planted it there, having one of the trees at mystic's place seal it

Anyways shadow milk decided to free pv so the story goes from there but im not entirely sure where it's going yet :p

This thought just randomly came to me—Burning Spice Show. Just a random show where he commits a different crime every episode. Like in one he'll sacrifice people to an underground cult—in another he'll create a plan to explode the busiest highway in his city (Burning City.) And like Shadow Milk will show up in certain episodes to amplify the chaos and they just cause atrocities together. Nutmeg Tiger is is right-hand (tiger??) man and helps him, though does give him concerned looks sometimes.

Maybe Golden Cheese tries to stop him every episode but he always gets away with it like a reverse hero-villain dynamic where instead of the hero stopping them each episode, the evil stops the hero from winning and then it resets next episode. He's just a silly little guy though he swears!!! It'd have to be an episodic show def.

Hear me out: The beasts could have been ok, if only they didn't, perchance, have the wrong soul jams... Look I know they're meant to parallel their opposite (i.e Shadow Milk and Pure Vanilla) but I can't help but notice how weirdly similar they are to other ancients. Like what do you mean Hollyberry and Burning Spice are both brawlers and Mystic Flour and Pure vanilla are both healers!!!! Perhaps, if they had switched soul jam, nothing would have gone wrong

This is my is thoughts on the soul jams and does have spoilers for Beast-Yeast and its lore, you have been warned

We’re starting with the soul jam of Knowledge because we’re introduced to Shadow Milk first.

The original soul jam, the soul jam of Knowledge is split into Truth and Deceit

The the main shape of them are flipped version of each other, mostly likely showing that they are opposites. The soul jam of Deceit has a slit in it, making it look like an eye. This is mostly likely because of Shadow Milk’s view on knowledge. It seems like he saw the cookies on earthbread didn’t know of their original purpose, and were deceived. This might have lead him to believing that most knowledge is actually deceit, and thus becoming the beast of deceit. But how does deceit and truth relate to knowledge? They’re both a form of knowledge. Plenty of things we see as common knowledge is lies, like bears sleeping all winter.

Next is the soul jam of Happiness. It spilt into Passion and Sloth

Once again, they’re flipped versions of each other. Now, how do passion and sloth relate to happiness? They both are a way to get happiness. You can be passionate about something and that can make you happy, or you can lazy around and have other people do stuff for you and that can bring happiness.

Next is the soul jam of Volition. It split into Resolution and Apathy

Being completely symmetrical, they are basically the same, but the soul jam of Apathy is more rhombus shaped and a pale yellow. Volition is defined as one’s will and resolution means a firm decision to do or not to do something, and that definitely uses will. But how does apathy fit into volition? Apathy is the state of indifference. This seems very opposite to will and that may be the intent. Once you’ve used your will so often, it’s easy to get burnt out and become apathetic.

Next is the soul jam of Change. It splits into Abundance and Destruction.

Like before, flipped versions of each other. Change and destruction can be related easily, destruction causes change. But abundance can also causes change, an abundance of money, food, or people. Like Shadow Milk, I have a theory on why Burning Spice turned to destruction. After years of overseeing change, it’s easy to focus on destruction causing change, and barely see abundance.

Finally, the soul jam of Solitary. It spilt into Freedom and Silence.

Again, flipped version of each other. First, the definition of solidarity is needed. Solidarity means mutual support within a group. Freedom fits this well. Often, in order to be free, you need support. But how does silence fit? Most likely, Silent Salt saw how solidarity ended horribly and turned to silence, as when you are silent, you cannot openly show solidarity.

These are just my thoughts and theories so other opinions are welcome!
