I am obsessed with the fact that the Veilguard all gathers round to watch Solas's saddest memories and then dissects them like it's an episode of Desperate Housewives. 10/10 no notes, exactly what he deserves.

The has been stuck in my head for DAYS, yall need to suffer with me.

Imagine, a De Riva Rook and Viago, siblings, be it by blood or by covenant. Both dealing with hurt, resentment, and a desperate longing to be side by side again. Though Viago would rather die than admit it, he adores the little fledgling he took in, would gladly kill and die for them. But after they accidentally ruined a larger Crow scheme, he had to send them away. He’s angry, at them, at himself, this could get them killed, he taught them better than this. On the flip side there’s Rook, certain they did the right thing but now shunned by the Crows, by the very man they looked up to.

Imagine them not getting a chance to reconcile, as Rook binds themselves to Fade to keep it stable and stop Solas.

Imagine Viago, blaming himself, how could he have forced them away? Especially when they needed him the most. He feels guilty for grieving, he hurt them, what right does he have to mourn? On top of that he’s angry, at himself, at the other Crows. It’s infuriating to see the other Crows mourn and try to honor Rook, when they were previously the ones shunning Rook.

Sorry bout that lads, I’ve had that one line from You’re Gonna Go Far by Noah Kahan stuck in my head. “We ain’t angry at you love, you’re the greatest thing we lost.”

Didn't expect to casually see Solas in Naples

It's even funnier when most of them are the same people who go screaming around that Solas and Mythal were startcrossed endgame soulmates because she called him love once lol.

I'm not mad with this new game, honestly. I may not like how rushed it seems sometimes, but the romances I've done so far left me very satisfied (Emmrich and Lucanis ofc).

People who are claiming the Lucanis romance is lacklustre because you don’t make out immediately are weak. Every piece of dialogue from this man has been so sweet and romantic and genuine and thoughtful especially since confirming the relationship. and people are saying it’s “like you’re just friends” because there’s no sex scene after you enter the relationship… not sure what they’re doing wrong but Lucanis’ gentleness and protectiveness toward Rook reads 100% romantic to me. the man was just tortured for a year he’s a slow burn let him COOK

Hello everyone, new writer here!!

I have some writing ideas in mind but I thought it'd be wiser to start off by writing what you guys want to read first then I might elaborate the projects I already have in mind.

GENERAL INFOS:

English isn't my first language so please be bear with me if I make any mistakes (which will happen for sure)

I probably won't write for a male!reader. Nothing against male readers, of course, but I feel that I don't have enough writing skills to write as well for a man as I would for a woman. That being said, I still might try it out in the future if it's something that many of you want. Gender neutral is also totally fine to me!

Keep in mind that I'm still studying so I might not be always able to post the same day someone sends a request, but I'll try to write my fics in no more than 3 days after the commission

If any fic I write contains spoilers from the book/series/movie THERE WILL BE A WARNING so that I don't ruin anything to anyone🤗

actually, I've been thinking during my (I have no idea, third, fourth??) run, that it would be nice to make romanced Lucanis move from his usual place next to Emmerich's chair to stand alongside Rook in all cutscenes in the library. Yeah, we would have seen less Lucanis during those, but I like to think, that romanced Lukanis choose to stay with Rook

Fic writers assemble, I've got you an idea.

Imagine Emmerich and Lucanis just pulled Rook out of the Fade, moment of silent shock and then Rook dragged Lucanis into a kiss, deep and hunger, almost endless, just to say, after finally breaking the kiss: 'you should praise my patience, I wanted to do it from the moment we've met!'

Summary: When Solas takes on a physical form at Mythal's request, his whole world changes. Many years later, he asks Eldhira to make a different, but similarly fundamental change. It is only then that he realizes he's become what he swore to destroy.

I thought it would be interesting to explore not only Solas’ transition from spirit to physical form, but I’ve also always wanted to explore his inner thoughts and feelings during the infamous Crestwood scene. Nice try Bioware, but I know the state of Southern Thedas better than you do.

First off, it matters if the Hero of Ferelden is alive or not. When the First Warden recalled all wardens, our hero knew that was a bad call and refused, finally splitting off from Weisshaupt after years of mismanagement and taking scores of wardens with them. Their presence and leadership makes all the difference, rallying southern Thedas once more against the blight. If you have only an Orlesian Warden Commander in Amaranthine they’re less inspiring, but as long as you’ve done Awakening they are a boon nonetheless. There is someone to lead the fight against the darkspawn while other focus on the Venatori.

If you 100% completed Awakenings and also Soldier’s Peak, the Ferelden wardens have never been so prepared. They’re organized, they’re outfitted and they’ve been ready for this for years. Also, if you allied with the Architect then you have scores of strange research to give you an edge.

If Merrill completed her Eluvian then she moves south once again and joins the effort. She’s managed to cleanse the blight before and she’s ready to try it again. And her knowledge of the crossroads gives the south an edge on their movement and supply lines. If Hawke’s sibling is a Warden they accompanied her.

If the Inquisitor let Briala have power in any way, the Dales become the leaders in the war against the Venatori, forming a formidable alliance with Ferelden, Orzammar and the Marches, the likes of which have never been seen. And if you completed Jaws of Hakkon then their alliances with the Avvar and Chasind are stronger than ever.

Of course, if the Inquisitor kept the Wardens around after Here Lies the Abyss then their numbers are bolstered. It may cost Wiesshaupt later, but that’s Rooks problem. And if you completed the Descent, then the Inquisitor and Warden had a much better idea of what was coming and spent ten years getting ready.

They will not be broken.

They will weather this storm.
