Your gateway to endless inspiration
It's not fair that in some other universe I could've been some weird creature. Why can't I be an eldritch monstrosity that lives deep in the woods??? Instead I have to do math and learn to pay taxes!?!???
Inktober day 13!, from the magtober prompt list yet again, eldrich john anyone?
One again prompt list by @emerald-emerlad
Wow… I'll never underestimate grandmas again
I kept wondering what a hybrid between a Night Fury and Cthulhu would look like so I drew this.
And they bowed to gods of wood and bone
Not knowing it’s not God that looks down from its throne
Eldritch creature and his little suns - more at 10 (And his long ass hair)
Worked up a bunch of designs for the Karan. Karan are the Creats that Xyran belongs to, and Thorrah is the main leader and creator of the Karan. Currently I have it so that the Karan are not known by most Creats, or maybe I'll just have a portion of them not known-- I'm still working out a lot of the story details.
There's both old and new designs for Thorrah depicted here, as well as a couple sketches of Xyran and the old Julynn design. Thorrah is depicted sewing up a body, which is generally what he spends his time doing as he is the main re-animator for Early World.
Tried working out the re-design for my character Thorrah. Still largely unsure on the design but I have a general idea now at least.
Vi didn't like what they saw in the mirror.
The Brothers More character art of Creats who are from the story I refer to as "Early World"
Re-design for my lovely edgy af oc Xyran. They now get lanky arms, with shorter legs, and overall are more shape-y. Proportions are meant to be reminiscent of chimp anatomy, and I also took a bit of inspiration from pangolins. Special close-up below
Now just a ton more re-designs to go yay!!!! /sarcasm I haven't updated oc designs for all of the Creats I made in... many years. I realized I just kind of made them all skinny and it's too repetitive to keep it that way. Gonna try to make designs more interesting and engaging, using inspiration from animals more often for a variety of different shapes. I also love my OCs, they deserve the world. Hopefully I can work on building out my writing and story skills. Would be nice to have a couple of short comics, or maybe I'll just make a series of illustrations to go along with the character's stories. That might be more manageable as a comic.
IT'S FINISHED. After 3 months of this thing sitting around this animation is finally ready
This piece is dedicated to The First. Poem & explanation written below.
We were the first
We were stars Meant for suns Body-less, yet whole Empty creatures with souls We were voices With no mouths We would sing With no limbs We held Hands We were the blood Filling veins For the Universe Planting Seeds Aiding new life We were the first
I made this piece when thinking of building up more lore for the Unnaturals, who were the first alternate beings to make contact with Earth001. The Unnaturals do not have corporeal forms, and their names were given to them by humans. There's a lot more I could say, particularly about how a majority of the Unnaturals faded out after fusing with humans. The Unnaturals overall have a very peaceful way of going about life, and are furiously curious. After fusing with humans, each generation that passed evolved rapidly. I'll try to go more in-depth on each passing generation until it leads up to the other connecting story I have involving Creats. Creats are the last known generation from the fused humans x Unnaturals.
Vi info dumps to ZARA about their writing ideas.
Some various sketches of ZARA and the different forms they can take.
Vi takes their helmet off.
ZARA shakes things up a bit and puts Vi in the story of Red Riding Hood. Since ZARA can shape reality into any kind of fictional story, I can basically make anything cannon in their world. What are some of yall's favorite stories, classic or not?
