Your gateway to endless inspiration
My cunty cowgirl vampire gunslinger Kaspian, or Kas for short đ„č I play her in a kind of Zaun-like cityscape meets traditional DND! it's been such a blast. She's currently level 15 with THREE guns now??? Her sniper rifle, Requiem, her magical revolver, Lucky Shot, and her antimatter rifle, Reaper đ« Goooooddddd I'm finally making art I actually kind of like the look of I'm nervous that feelings gonna go away but this piece makes me so happy so I'm gonna soak up all that serotonin as much as possible đ€
Been redoing his design slightly.
It's one thing to say: "Hey this is kinda not great" and another thing to say "You're doing a shitty thing now go and start over." Let people have their fun with their homebrews. Warhammer 40k is wacky as it is grimdark. Deal with it, please for the love of the Emperor.
I saw ypur post about D&D, did something happen? You kept saying it was a terrible idea and now I'm scared lol
unfortunately yes. @leidensygdom made a really good summary post about it here.
havenât seen this posted here yet
the âdragonsâ part of dnd got me interested originally, but it was the fan creations like taz and critical role that really drew me in and kept me around
what a god awful decision
In a world where gods are very casually involved in most aspects of life, but there are also very powerful magic users who can easily mimic the powers of a God, the only difference between a God and a mortal would be whether they can die, right?
So, theoretically, if God's could be born to mortals without ant direct provable divine intervention (like jesus), it's very possible for this God to grow up believing they're a mortal, possibly even being atheist. So when this God is proven to be immortal (rip their loved ones) they simply believe they are immortal. It's just a coincidence that theyre very gifted in this one field, even to the point of being the best in existence.
New post from my TTRPG page
Hi there~! Didn't expect me to be making content so soon huh?
Well, I am here simply because I've put together a quick errata for the warlock reborn, because upon a second read-through I realize there were a ton of things I overlooked. I'll go over the changes made in this post here
-Added a spellcasting focus section for the pact magic feature. I have no idea how I forgot to add that until later but here I am, the only difference between it and the OG warlock is now you can use occult items, such as a skull or tarrot cards as a focus.
-Eldritch Invocation rebalance, a lot of the 5th-level such as eldritch smite and arcane barrage were pushed back to 6th-level because 5th-level is loaded as is, since you not only obtain 3rd-level spells, but your pact also improve at that level, so I felt somewhat justified in pushing those invocations back a level.
-Updated the dragon and evergrown patrons, upon further examination I found myself not entirely satisfied with how those two subclasses came out, so some updates were made. Which I will go over.
The Dragon:
Draconic burst was overhauled, it's damage got reduced from 2d6 down to 2d4, however, you can now use the feature without a resource cost, meaning you can blast away to your hearts content! I also added a paragraph explaining how it interacts with the eldritch blast invocations, mighty breath was reworked into the might of the wyrm feature, with comes with an increase to your draconic bursts damage, allowing it to deal 4d4 damage on top of the additional effects it gives. The last paragraph of Primordial tyrant was also updated to make it clearer.
The Evergrown
The natures child feature allows you to double your PB in the nature skill if you already have the proficiency, I'm honestly surprised I forgot that, but rushing to meet a deadline will do that to you. The might of the wilds part of your 6th-level feature was updated to instead reduced a creatures movement speed by half, wild sanctuary was updated to allow you to ignore difficult terrain created by your spells (Such as spiked growth or plant growth) and apex of gaia now buffs your curse of the wilds, allowing you to deal additional damage to surrounding creatures when a target afflicted by your curse of the wilds dies.
The general layout was also updated to make it a bit better on the eyes, otherwise that's about all of the changes made to the warlock reborn, hope you have fun with it and remember. Go out and make something awesome.
Hey you! I made this on my TTRPG account, go check it out!
Hi there~! It's been a long time coming, but here it is, my attempt at reworking the 5e warlock, due to my dissatisfaction with the version presented in One DND (5.5??) feature a whole host of reworked and altered options so you may be the best devil worshiper you can be, the rest of this post shall go over some of the changes made along with my intention behind the changes.
The base class.
For starters, eldritch blast is now a class feature. Simply put, every warlock takes eldritch blast, doesn't matter if you're focused on support, damage, or you're a weapon wielding hexblade, eldritch blast is such a good option, so I might as well give it as a base class feature. Similarly the agonizing blasts ability to add your charisma modifier to its damage rolls was added for similar reasons, skipping over the spellcasting, pact boon and invocation changes, the contact patron feature from the One DND UA was added for thematic purposes, and eldritch master was reworked to instead allow your patron to concentrate on a spell, which yes, does allow you to concentrate on two spells at one (At disadvantage)
Spellcasting.
The One DND warlock features the rather unique ability to choose between intelligence, wisdom or charisma as its casting stat, while I enjoyed the concept I decided to take it a step further by tying your spellcasting ability to the otherworldly patrons themselves, essentially using their spellcasting stat in a way.
Additional changes include you getting your 3rd-level slot at 6th-level as opposed to 11th, cause the highest most dnd campaigns reach are around 10-11th level, and it feels bad having to wait all the way until then just to cast three spells a day, some other changes of note include the warlock being able to ritually cast, and the spells gained from their otherworldly patron are now automatically prepared, rather than added to the warlock spell list. Which i'm not sure why they did that? Unless they though the warlock would be too good?
The Pact boons.
Basically every pact boon got upped in power, such as pact of the blade and pact of the chain, alongside them growing in strength when you reach 5th-level, in addition, two new pact boons were added. The first being the Pact of The Gunpowder, based on the Pact of The Trigger by MonkeyDM, its an eldritch blast/cantrip focused pact for those who want to truly commit themselves to the eldritch blast lifestyle, alongside the Pact of The Idol, allowing you to sacrifice your hit dice to perform various features.
Eldritch Invocations.
A selection of (Mostly new) invocations were made for this document, my favorite would have to be the ones given to the pact of the blade. Admittedly in the rush to get this out by the deadline I chose to cut back on the invocations in particular, but who knows, maybe when I get to revising this someday I can add even more invocations to the list.
Subclasses
All of the subclasses were revised in one way or another, but for the sake of time i'll go other three in particular: The Hexblade, The Horror and The Undying. The hexblade is a rather infamous subclass within the DND community in no small part cause of how strong a 1st-level dip is for many characters (Cough, paladin) but the more I looked at it, the more I found myself bored of it. Don't get me wrong the 5e hexblade is rather powerful, but it just doesn't scratch the itch of the cursed item patron, and with hex warriors main drawing being ported over to pact of the blade, reworking was a must. The horror (Originally called the undead) I generally don't have to many issues mechanics wise, in fact it's one of my favorite warlock subclass, my only gripe is cause of how much if steps on the undying toes flavor-wise, speaking of which, the undying is possibly the subclass I had the most fun reworking, transforming it into a tanky summon focused as opposed to....Whatever the original was trying to accomplish.
Along with the revision of old subclasses, three new subclasses are included: The Arcanist, The Dragon and The Evergreen. The arcanist is a pact with a powerful being of magic (Such as an archmage) it allows you to learn wizard spells from your pact magic feature, manipulate your spellcasting and eventually imbue spells into trinkets, the dragon are for those that simply want blast their foes away, you can create bursts of draconic energy, absorb elemental energy and even assume the form of a dragon, lastly the evergreen is for those that couldn't decide if they wanted to be a druid or a warlock, allowing you to create a garden around yourself that damages enemies, alongside implanting magic seeds within your foes and protecting allies within your garden against spells, similar to an ancients paladin.
New spells
Because I like making more work for myself, a handful of new spells are available at the end of the document, so I apologize if they're a bit on the lower end quality wise, but I hope they'll be at least somewhat interesting.
That's about all I wanted to talk about in relation to this rework, keep in mind everything in here is untested, and I encourage anyone reading this to leave any thoughts or constructive criticism they may have. With that in mind, thank you for reading, go out and make something cool.
This is Finn. Heâs from a futuristic homebrew DnD campaign. Heâs went through so much already. Heâs a guusari race (homebrew race of humans with animal features) and a wizard. He has an aku (a special organ that gives you a power specifically designed for your entire life) which is a mist he can control and make himself into mist to sneak around. Heâs 22 and trans. He goes to combat school with all of the other player characters. He has an adoptive daughter whoâs a red oni.
This is Creek, he's an oc for a Dungeons and dragons homebrew race I'm working on. He is a Draken and he is a royal guard, who also wears a chill sweater whenever off work. Anyway I'm nowhere near done with his race's worldbuilding and stats, but at least I finally decided what they look like
A vile disturbance in the currents of matter, a fissure in the vessel of time. In a split second of inattention, the void elemental was created and creation itself quickly learned to fear its existence. The void elemental is an arch enemy of everyone and anything alike â a planet-devouring hunger fuels its ever-changing fabric, its sheer presence nullifies life wherever it roams. Only a few dared to oppose its hollowing reign and those who did were absorbed by the very same emptiness, this eldritch being escaped from.

Miss Lilith or as they would call her in her place of quote on quote business her name is "Sin" he really loves my boy Adrian.đ
This is my dirty tiefling slut that would disguise himself on a daily to be drow since in The Homebrew tiefling things were looked at as lower class citizens. Since the campaign technically took place in New Orleans where it is heavily religious-based. So for his own safety disguised himself as a drow. He's also a really good Rogue. đ
Some characters I designed for another Halloween campaign that are DM put together. It was a really cool murder mystery that he Homebrew dog by himself with a bit of help from myself and a few others! I'm really proud of how some of these turned out!
Here Is a List of Races and Backgrounds for my DnD game. Still working on Classâs
Old background pieces! [2020-2021]
The Mountains of Aria! The TOW party relaxing after a nice soak in the hot springs.
"You're back." - Another TOW illustration. Auhlia hasn't seen Cierca in years because of Cynth's sudden leave. He holds her tight and won't let go...
The Willowed One, Mimosa. Goddess of Yatoro Forest.
"Takin' a break." - I wanted to catch a specific vibe here since there's a lot of farms where I live. Whenever it's cloudy? Ugh. Immaculate. Peter do be a farm boyâą
"Care to chat?" - Theo tries to break Vidaleo out of his shell and into some friendly conversation.
This traditional piece is basically the digital one but recontextualized. It's also (((3-D)))
First time giving background characters a much needed full style drawing! Some became pretty relevant đ (looks to everyone on the middle lower half and onwards)
Butterfingers
Description: The target loses the grip of all the things they have in their hands for 1 minute, making them constantly fall on the ground.
Functionality: The caster points with both hands at the target, on a Con fail the target will lose the grip on what they were holding. Every time the target tries to hold something, the object will slip from their hands. If the caster doesnât use Concentration to maintain the spell it will last for a max of 60 secs during which the target will have one possibility to (with a Con ST) hold one object for one turn (6 secs). If the caster uses Concentration to maintain the spell the spell it will last for a max of 10 mins, without the possibility to hold something for even only one turn. While in this condition the target also canât cast spells that uses somatic components
Inspiration: I dropped some butter and my mum made a horrible pun about it⊠thanks mum
I miss playing D&D so much! It's been years, and the last time I played it, I had my campaign destroyed by a vindictive second DM that I didn't know was angry with me until it was too late (I blame my autism for somehow not reading that on them)... now that my life is more stable without vindictive assholes in it, I want to maybe try again. I found my old notes from a campaign I designed completely myself, and I'm thinking about designing a reboot or making an entirely new campaign just for fun! I missed the chaos and the silly banter, and I can't wait to revive my best character(s) and lay waste to my enemies as a druidic bard, or maybe I'll try monk or paladin againâïž
My first Art Fight of 2024, I can't wait til July of this year! In order, each OC belongs to MagicalMeow, Hufflepup, TiniChild, (left) Voorheez / (right) Mine, Rediuv, and Stwah! Which one is your favorite?
me, mid-way through cleaning the fifth room that day at the hotel, rotating one of my homebrew dnd god ideas in my mind, asking a simple questio-
BAM complete change in genre, 7+2 new aesthetics and characters, new rules and metaphysics of the world, all enter my brain like a railway spike
people might think creating OC lore involves a lot of thinking & planning, but in my personal experience, OC development is more like a divine vision from a god slamming you over the head with a mallet while ur doing the fuckin dishes or folding laundry
I would add in https://www.fantasynamegenerators.com, especially if youâre like me and absolutely suck at naming things.
Every creature, class and caricature can be found for free on the internet, with almost no digging. Dungeons and Dragons has never been easier to play. Wondrous Item, Rare
Often found among the traveling elite and wealthy, the Portable Closet is outwardly very similar to a Bag Of Holding, but a bit fancier looking. On the outside, it has a roughly 2-foot diameter opening and is about 4 feet deep. The inside is also like a Bag Of Holding in that it is much larger than its outer dimensions. Unlike the Bag Of Holding, this item is specifically designed to hold only clothing. The Portable Closet has 12 âchambersâ, each designed to hold one outfit plus any accessories needed for the outfit (shoes, hats, gloves, jewelry and such). The closet will clean and press any clothing placed in it and left there for an hour. It will also clean any accessories left for the same time period (i.e. - shoes are shined, metal polished, leather oiled, etc.). The bag also uses the Mending cantrip to repair any damage to any item placed in it, up to the limits of the spell. Note that any items kept inside something else (such as in a purse or pocket) will not be cleaned or repaired. Armor may also be kept in the closet, though Scale Mail and Half Plate armors take up two of the chambers of the closet and any heavy armor takes up three chambers. Magical properties that alter an armorâs weight do not apply. For example, a magical suit of chainmail that acts as if it was light armor would still require 3 chambers of the closet to be stored in the bag. No accessories maybe be placed in with the armor up to and including weapons, backpacks and other types of adventuring gear. If the bag ever has more than its 12 chamber filled, has something placed in it that canât be considered clothing or an accessory (such as weapons or loose coins) that are not contained in an outfit or accessory, something is placed in with a suit of armor, or if it becomes pierced or torn, then the closet ruptures and is destroyed, and its contents are scattered in the Astral Plane. If the bag is turned inside out, its contents spill forth, unharmed, but the bag must be put right before it can be used again. Breathing creatures inside the bag can survive up to a number minutes equal to 10 divided by the number of creatures (minimum of 1 minute), after which time they begin to suffocate. Placing a Portable Closet inside an extra-dimensional space created by a Bag of Holding, a Portable Hole or any similar item instantly destroys both items and opens a gate to the Astral Plane. The gate originates where the one item was placed inside the other. Any creature within 10 feet of the gate is sucked through it to a random location on the Astral Plane. The gate then closes. The gate is one-0way only and canât be reopened.
So, I played in a oneshot with a few friends. Set in a modern setting with a lot of fantasy elements. One of the races in the setting are Men In Black, which are basically an alien insectoid species that look specifically like a human in a suit so they can infiltrate the government.
My character was a one of these 'Men In Black', and my entire backstory was that he failed to join an office / government job. So he got a job as a construction worker, and got a drinking problem because he's sad. Also he's is awful at pretending to be human.
The entire oneshot was: Me (M.I.B. Drunken Master Monk), some War-forged Warlock, and a random Human Bard. We were all invited to a giant building in the woods. It turned out it was a cult. The War-forged was there to be an actual viewer (he didn't know what he was getting into), The bard was just a random comedian they hired, and I was the "Human" Sacrifice.
It ended with a fight against a demon that had a specific attack to break your spine (Bane vs Batman style), that like halved your Speed Dex and Str... After it already hit me... The DM realized that it specifically doesn't effect creatures without a normal skeleton...
I got snapped like a kitkat bar, then got back up like nothing was wrong.
And the best part? I named my character:
