I know it’s fall for real now cuz the floors in my house stay consistently cold. And the west coast doesn’t exactly conform to cool weather often, especially with Global warming ducking up the whole ecosystem and weather system, whatever word that is.

Today in psych class we were talking about how more symmetrical faces are found more attractive, as it represents good autoimmune diversity or smth (don't trust me on that, I've mostly forgotten) and my friend was complaining about how her jawline is one side really soft, and the other side really sharp.
And I was like: Oh! It's like Mulan's jawline in the promotional poster. The one with the sword reflection, and she has one side square and the other round. And she was like: what.
So then I showed her the poster and yeah. She told me to make this post, because she wanted the world to know that she has the Mulan Jawline™

one fun thing about being a teacher in march 2023 is that chess is a literal epidemic among teens. we are starting to have meetings about how we can STOP teenagers from playing too much chess which is like if we were trying to figure out how to stop them from reading for fun. When i was in high school five years ago chess was nerd shit only but now it is transcending every social and language barrier and is absolutely rampant. kids aren’t on their phone texting in class anymore it’s ONLY chess.com. kids are playing chess on their phones while playing chess in real life. this is still better than tiktok because at least the kids are developing an attention span from this
