I haven't written fanfiction in years but school spirits are making me want to write one where the ghosts are alive and the alive kids are the ghosts, so an reversed au!

Simon would the role of Maddie's place or something like that.

But like the others have different deaths and time periods when they die!

And I do want to add Simon x Xavier (as it is a savier fanfic)

yuri and Quinn are alive as well because I also want Charley x yuri and Rhonda x Quinn, and of course Wally x Maddie!

My idea is that it's the school spirits plot but my own creative with it and to have my favorite ships!

My questions for everyone is

One: what time period do you think Xavier, Nicole and Claire die in? what time would they fit into? I want them different like the original ghosts! (This one is done and figured out!)

Two: how do you want some of their relationships to grow?

Rant about how the Fandom treated Maddie and Cait:

Okay by the title it might seem like I’m in defense of what they did to the Undercity but I’m not. This is a weird gripe I have with how people reacted when they found out the two were sleeping together. Spoilers for Arcane season 1 & 2

So when I was watching season 2 of Arcane for the first time, around the time it came out because I was trying to hold off watching it to watch it with my sister but I failed, I think I had a very chill reaction to Cait sleeping with Maddie. I saw Maddie pop up and I was like, “oh, I didn’t see that coming” and continued to watch it without thinking that much into it. At this point Maddie hadn’t bertrayed Cait as this was still Act 2, not to Act 3 yet so I still liked Maddie.

Going online was very different. People started to hate her for sleeping with Caitlyn and I was confused. I don’t know, but I just have the reaction of like “okay?” Because it’s not a crime to sleep with someone. Then came the slut shaming comments towards Cait, that’s where I have the gripe. It’s very odd to me how people were mad at Caitlyn for sleeping with someone while she’s still single. She was not with Vi, it’s not cheating.

To me, I got this odd sense of purification culture, even if it was unintentional. The reaction people had to Cait sleeping with someone while she’s single compared to Jayce was odd. From what I saw, and I could be wrong, no one had a negative reaction to Jayce sleeping with Mel while single. And I’m not saying people should, because both should be able to without judgment.

It was weird to me, that people were more concerned that Cait was a “slut” than her leaving Vi crying on the ground after she hit her in the stomach with her gun. I’m bad at putting thoughts into words but I just got an icky feeling of people slutshaming the two. You’re allowed to sleep with other people! You’re allowed to date other people! That’s life, I know I haven’t stayed with one person in my life. Dating and sleeping with others is to see what you like, it’s okay to experiment.

Idk if people will understand what I’m saying but I had to get it out there. Screaming into the void

Born and raised in Noxus

An orphan: was abandoned as a baby at the steps of an orphanage

Regularly stole, fought, and lied in order to survive even in the orphanage. Breaking into the kitchens for extra food and framing another kid for it, pickpocketing for coin, planting evidence for revenge- you name it. Maddie learned survival the hard way. Through pretty words and hiding knives behind her back.

But of course she's still a kid, so she gets caught by adults eventually

Instead of punishment, someone takes a shine to her. Decides she'll need a mentor

She gets sponsored to join the imperial academy, where they test children's aptitude and put them wherever they're best suited. Maddie's on track to be a spy within a week

One of her hobbies since childhood was mimicry. She can mock any accent, and is good at mirroring behaviors. This makes her a star student in spy-training.

Her non-region-specific appearance makes her perfect for subterfuge abroad. This and her accent means she blends in with Piltovans. When she graduates with high marks, that's the first long-term mission they send her on.

Vi is actually more her type than Caitlyn is. In fact, she was kind of bummed that she was Caitlyn's rebound instead

Her surname (Nolen) isn't her birth name. It's the surname they give to all orphans (either at the orphanage or at the academy) in her age group that don't have one.

Her favorite perfume scent is lavender.

She has a range of talents besides fighting, because she's meant to be able to adapt to any situation. That includes entertainment (music, conversation, dance, etc) and basics in some STEM fields (basics in mechanics, etc.)

As a result of her training, she's immune to most poisons

About Maddie Nolen, at the beginning I was like: "you seem kind, but cops are bastards and you are going to suffer because of this. You've got a giant X on your back."

Then, I saw her being so excited about Ambessa's plan and I thought that she was going to get corrupted, rather than killed by the system.

In Act II I was back to my first impression, because she seemed against Ambessa's metods (I was probably blinded by emotional damage). I also was a little bit sad for her, because she was a rebound.

At least I can respect that she fooled me, but I will still laugh at her death because it was hilarious.

Also, this girl had really bad relationships if she thinks that what Cait was giving her was "warmth".

My red flag is that I'm unbelievably in love with this thing.

Okay, I don't like to get into arguments about characters, but here we go. I saw a lot of people hating Maddie in act two just because she slept with bitch Caitlyn. Type??? Caitlyn is a single woman, of course Maddie could sleep with her. Caitlyn and Vi just kissed, they have no relationship in the series, they are not a couple. Maddie doesn't deserve hate for something as stupid as this. Do you want to hate someone? hate Caitlyn then, she's the one who slept with Maddie too.
