Marie began to develop her abilities only after meeting the Hawkins' pirates (from the beginning of her main storyline, let's say). Before that, she had only learned how to keep the power of her Devil fruit under control to avoid harming anyone.
A significant role in this is played by Marie's origins. She comes from a small kingdom lost somewhere in the New World. This kingdom is closer to the Medieval in terms of its infrastructure, lifestyle, and worldview.
In her homeland, no one had ever heard of Devil Fruits, so people and even almost her entire family perceived Marie as some kind of witch or demon.
Marie was able to properly train and develop her abilities only many years later, right after meeting the pirates. Because they explained to her that she was neither a witch nor a monster, but an ordinary person who was both lucky and unlucky at the same time.

Hi hi everyone, Madam here!
After the last post of some of my canon lgbtqia+ ocs, I'm sure some people do have some questions on who each character is and what these utmv aus are. For the ones who enjoy my content and those who are new, I want to thank you in advance for your support in myself, my art, and the stories I want to tell. I thank you for being patient with me and those who have decided to leave, thank you for being here, and I apologize for not being much active.
But as it is summer and I have to create a schedule to balance work and soon school with my various projects, here are some of the few that I will be working on currently (maybe in this order, we do not know):
●The Fates and Cryptid Oddities redesigns and lore.
●GhostTwist redesigns and lore.
●Music Box designs and lore.
●Potential future video essay scripts/ potential scholar papers.
As many have noticed, I am currently back in my undertale phase; but that doesn't mean my other promised projects won't get a chance to shine as well! As I get accustomed to my new job, I hope you all will continue to be with me and be patient with me as I continue to work on my projects.

So here some fact about this oc
She a magician and acrobatic character, that work in circus during her lifetime. While working she would often disguise herself as more man( this outfit she wearing after her secret)
at age of 25 she got married to her husband but died two years later due to a unknown disease.
Little much about her background but when she was younger she ran from home as she homeless till she found her way to circus.
Personality: she have confused personality. She keep a big smiles no matter where, as she often doesn’t break. She strong willed with great motivation to keep going, but this could lead to cocky attitude. In the end she feels nothing inside her, she feels empty.
Random fact
1.she doesn’t like cats
2. She love fancy hats, and her own husband
3. Her weapon of her choice is the same size as her but surprisingly she about lift her weapons.

Due to… Events that will be touched upon soon, I found out that my bloodline is very mixed. Turns out I'm not just a human, but a succubi, dracolich and siren! Man, my ancestors must have really loved monsters as much as I do.
It takes some getting used to, having gone through a metamorphosis and having all these new abilities. One of them being that I can get dragon body parts! But I don't really have much control over it—it seems more emotion-based. an infection, horrid and gruesome has been spread through the aitherveil.
The poor lumivyn species is highly effected by it, this infection, known as " the fracture " by the lumivyn, is an infectious disease caused by a crystal named the fissurestone.
Their God, solaria has abandoned them, leaving them to question if she's really real or not.
It takes over the hosts and punctures through their bodies, like a crystal pufferfish.
The main characters, wack, valentine, decimal, and flame, have to deal with the burden that this infection brings.
Wack, a jokester, he brings light to the darkest moments, though he downplays serious situations.
Flame, a strong, yet hot-headed butch, she often gets irritated by the others, taking her anger out on them.
Valentine, a loving, caring girl. She cares deeply for her friends. But shes obsessive, and her urges often get in the way.
And decimal, logical, math obsessed nerd, keeps he group grounded, and often clashes with flames anger.
And another character, fidget, a stuttering fumbling mess, he's dorky, and nervous alot of the time, blocking off opportunities for himself.
These four, possibly five, have to take on the infected world around them.
