Your gateway to endless inspiration
Finished post Halloween portrait study. Hope y’all like it!
Sunday is so fun to sketch but his hairstyle is quite complicated ngl I just went with whatever I thought was best 🤷♀️
I'm not currently at home so none of my art supplies are with me... T-T
I only drew this with a HB pencil and an erasor because I was in the mood for sketching something
I'll post some of my other traditional art throughout the week.
(Also going to start studying anatomy soon because I want to get better at art since I'm taking it as a subject next year. I also need to learn how to draw full bodies properly because i only know how to draw faces lol)
Portrait with beautiful shadows 😌
Last one of the series of drawings that I made this one was exceptionally hard because of the stripes I procrastinated a lot when making it and I almost thought about quitting but I kept going if you’re wondering where are the shoes so am I but they were not visible in the photo so I just didn’t draw any …
One thing that I love about drawing with pencil is how you can always erase your mistakes sometimes there will be marks left but that still gives you a lot of room to change stuff and I do that a lot in my process
Portrait with a cat from a Pinterest photo
Waltuh put your pencil away Waltuh I’m not drawing you right now Waltuh
I rarely draw men but for Walter White I made an exception
Portrait study that I did some time ago on printer paper the reference is from Pinterest
I love drawings portraits so much my favorite thing to draw is facial features and shadows on the skin and my least favorite part is the hair :/
Also happy new year everyone I hope that 2025 will be better than 2024 :3

Second portrait on the same cardboard ✨🎨

Why do I find drawing on cardboard so fascinating? 😂 Every time I see one, my mind instantly starts imagining what I can create on it. That kind of creativity just doesn’t hit the same when I look at paper or a canvas. Guess I’m just a cardboard artist at heart! 🎨✨

a simpler version of my last one (under the cut), but it feels more true to my art style
I've been struggling a bit with my digital art lately. i think I've hit a wall, but when i get over it, I'll have figured something out about my art for the better

portrait studies - the first is Hugh Dancy and the second is a photo of a man i found on Pinterest, but I'm not familiar with him. i did these using Krita, a pencil for the sketch, and a simple marker type brush for the coloring, with the color palette in the top left
A reference study of this photo I really liked
