Ya’ know how Katara (Better then Pakku) can keep up with Aang’s and Sokka’s antics? Look at Wang Fire, and when Aang was the old dude I like to believe that she can also fully lie to Toph due to being able to be completely calm in such situations, and a great hi jinks partner, but chooses not to because Katara would feel guilty for being able to do so. Tl:Dr Katara can lie just as good as Azula and get by Toph’s seismic sense.

My reasoning: the fact that MC literally had their shoulder dislocated by Raife and still went on about fighting him as if everything was okay, like as though they didn’t just go and heal themselves without knowing what the hell they were doing (aka healing like Raife continued to do the whole battle) Also, I mean, it could definitely be them being under the strain of adrenaline but if I just dislocated my fucking shoulder, I don’t think I’d go and be all happy-go-lucky about fighting an evil man.
