Two women, a blonde and a redhead, are pictured. One is leaning into the other, in a notably closer-up view. It's very probable that the photographer, whoever that may have been, used a more advanced camera. The women both have bags under their eyes from lack of sleep, but that's not to say they are upset- rather they both seem to be happy in the photo. The redhead is grinning for the camera, close to the blonde in an almost protective position. The blonde is happy too, but it's harder to tell with her dark lipstick and subtle smile. Written below the photograph: "If you are ever in need of me, you know where I'll be. -R". There is no named recipient.

why haven’t I posted more about women on here. Anyway I have such a personal connection to Ruby the Instigator and I don’t know why. Maybe because we’re both sound and car nerds. Maybe because we both freckles and medium length hair. Maybe it’s because we were both framed for things we didn’t do. That were exacerbated because of our sexualities. I think she speaks to the lesbian desire to run away, as historically documented. She fell in love with her only girl best friend who betrayed her and didn’t even look that shocked. She’s friends with boys. She buys guns and cigarettes. She’s tough. She’s weak. She feels love more strongly than anyone else. Especially to those who will never love her.
Thinking about two gay characters in Disco Elysium again…while smoker is underground as a part of the homosexual underground, which if that isn’t something Harry made up and is an actual term, then yes they have to be underground to enjoy life to its fullest. Ruby is underground as a fugitive, literally underneath the Feld building, but also the homosexual underground. Ruby’s lesbianism and current predicament are so intertwined to me. Like of course everyone in Martinaise wants to pin the murder on the predatory butch. The mean nasty dyke has to fend for herself, foraging scraps to make machines and smoke cigarettes. Smoker and ruby are at two ends of a distinct neural and physical pathway carved out by identity and ideology that have surely crossed by now. Klaasje even smokes on a balcony. But smoker eventually stays. Ruby and Klaasje don’t. Regardless they are all underground in more ways than one.

Idk. Maybe it's the fact that Ruby is betrayed by everyone she trusted, including the woman she fell for. She had no time to process the shit that had been going on, which made her paranoid. AND!!! Led her to create a human torture device. Just to not feel scared for her life. And not be arrested for the crime she did not commit. And, even if she runs away, she probably will have to be on the run all her life like Klaasje. Or she fucking dies (whatever path you get in the game). ALL BECAUSE SHE WANTED TO!!! HELP!!!! Bye I'm done
